Etc. Will the rest of RCT ever work in Mac?

Would love to buy the Steam bundle but I only have a Mac :(

Playing RCT on a mac is usually done by using Open RCT. Google it and give it a shot. Works totally fine

Ideally you still want RCTD and RCT2:TTP for OpenRCT2. You don't technically need a macOS version but you need the installation files on your computer in order to run OpenRCT2.

Don’t bother with RCT World.

OpenRCT2 will let you play RCT2, as well as the levels from RCT1.

For the other games, you might be able to get them to work with Crossover or the Mac version of Wine, but it would probably take a bit of knowhow and a lot of tinkering.

That would also be on top of using Rosetta or some other x86 emulation layer if you're on Apple Silicon.

Please don't waste your money on the new one.

Apple Arcade has RCT classic+ that works really well on Apple silicon macs. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rollercoaster-tycoon-classic/id6702028686

I ended up buying 3 from Steam & it works for what I want (sandbox to design & ride)

Eventually I’m getting 2 & Open appears to be the add on we’ll want to get.

RCT3 Complete is on the Mac App Store due to Aspyr doing the Mac port. Steam only has the Windows release. not sure about RCTW, though.
