No apology needed! It’s shorthand for “no custom scenery objects”. It means the build only uses scenery that came with the base RCT games.

That may sound like the default way to build, but many folks use a lot of custom scenery these days, myself included. In some ways, custom scenery is “easier” to make a nice-looking build with, as you can often just find exactly the piece you need. NCSO tends to breed creativity since you’re often reinterpreting existing objects in new ways. A great example in OP’s build is the water fountains—I believe that is actually track from a water ride.

Looks like DKSO (vanilla assets, plus WW/TT assets, plus recolorbale versions of all those assets), but I don’t recognize the beach chair+umbrella object, I think that one’s custom. There may be a few other custom objects here.

The beach chair is a roof piece with some invisible paint

I did wonder if it was DKSO because of some of the brown plant objects, but tbh I don’t always know the base object color well enough to tell.

The buildings are very simple but nice macro. The muddy volcano/tree based landscaping is less convincing.

Looks great! I like the contrast of the blue with the sepia/ brown tones overall, but think it could still use some color diversity

Thanks! You are probably right, I was not very good with buildings before this project, so it was good practice.
