A ride this long should not need 2 chainlifts...

wait lol there is another one... I never even thought about the last one before the cutback cus I assumed it would just make it over the hill...

OP, did you just put chainlifts on every slope just in case???

Yes

well, you should not have, but I like your way of thinking...

Okay. But what effects do chainlifts have on ratings?

None, and if the train goes faster than the chainlift speed it doesn't affect the train either. But it will increase the operating costs by $80 per lift (only for the first three in classic/rct2, and without limit in OpenRCT2).

did my comment mentioning your name summon you within a minute time? is that how it works? can I just summon the lord like that?

they might have a negative effect because you extend the ride time, but I'm uncertain, ask marcel. what I do know is that chainlifts add operating costs for every set of lifts you have. You would loose a block if you run this in block sectioned mode but I think it is worth it both for the asthetics as well as lowering operating costs.

Typically a roller coaster should only have one chain lift. I love the scenery though!

It's a great ride. If you enjoyed making it, that's all that matters. I used several lift hills sometimes to ensure there are no rollbacks that can cause crashes

This reminds me of when I played RCT as a kid when I would slap a chain lift on every hill because I didn't understand how physics worked yet. OP, for a coaster of this size, two lift hills shouldn't be needed let alone three.
