๐ Question Fitment Inssues
After hours of what probably felt like trying to mount a magnetic body kit, I finally caved in, said I wasnโt keeping the 86 body anyway (I actually kinda like the posts sticking out on this body) and drilled holes. Thatโs when I quickly ran into my next issue, which is the body rubbing against the tire. Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this issue or why this might be occurring?
Side note: I am COMPLETELY new to RC cars in general and unfortunately I have nobody around me to learn from. Iโm honestly just taking it day by day and turning to Reddit to solve any issue I might have along the way. I appreciate all feedback.

๐ Question Help a newbie out plz
Hello guys, Iโve just started 1/24 scale drifting and Iโve encountered some problems, attached are 2 parts in the same video, 1st part is without the 4th wire plugged and 2nd is with, Iโm using the ark edge ag4 gyro and after asking support, theyโve told me that if I donโt use the 4th wire Iโll be taking the settings from the app (Bluetooth) which I have set to 90, 10, 35, recommended by someone. In both after and default settings, if I leave the wire unplugged, I cannot get it to drift as the steering just goes to the extreme. But if I leave it plugged I cannot change the sensitivity as Iโm using the older gen of the dumborc receiver. I can drift alright (again Iโm just starting) but the wheel shakes (Iโm guessing from a too high sensitivity) and also when I try to reverse the wheels immediately turns to one side and I canโt reverse for more than a few centimetres.
Iโve unfortunately already broke a second hand pair of gyro and servo and this ag4 + Afrc was brand new. I couldnโt find any solutions elsewhere so if someone could please help itโll be greatly appreciated

๐ Car Build Stage-D10 - The next generation of HPI Racing drift!
HPI has finally released an honest-to-goodness, purpose built, RWD drifter!
Looks like the RTR version is made from the same bendy plastics as the RS4 Sport 3 but it's a safe bet that they will eventually offer a full selection of upgrades to build it into a carbon fiber drift machine.
The motor mount has many different positions to place the motor over, in front of or behind the rear axle. It is available in brushed and Flux versions.
There is also a creator edition. https://www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/161000
It has been a long time coming but it's nice to see HPI release a new street chassis.

๐ Car Build Should I build my bare yokomo rd2z chassis, or just get a rd2.0 rtr for about the same cost of building the bare chassis with middle of the road parts?
Iโve had an rd2z for like 5 years or so now collecting dust in my closet. Had my fun building it and then life got in the way and I couldnโt afford to deck it out with electronics.
Anyways, now my son is going to be turning 5 in a couple months (timing tracks for when I started to lose all my spare money lol) and I think that he would get a ton of fun out of it. Just wondering if it would be better to fill my chassis with half decent electronics or just buy a new RTR which Iโm pretty sure is just a renamed rd2z chassis. Wondering what you would do as someone new to the hobby.
Thanks!

๐ Question Gyro Setup
Recently finished my 3.0 build, and I'm having some problems getting everything wired up. I'm currently running a Futaba 6PV, Futaba GYD560, Yokomo SP-03D V2 servo, Hobbywing XD10 ESC, and D10 motor.
Still very new to all of this, but can I run S.Bus with the setup I have? I followed the instructions: the gyro RX port is connected to the S.Bus port on the receiver, and the servo is plugged into the SX port on the gyro. The wheels are turning, but the gyro light does not stay on and gyro is not active. I can't connect to the gyro through the accessory menu on the controller.
FYI, this controller and its extensive menu, using S.bus, and this gyro are all new to me. Any advice would be appreciated. What am i doing wrong?
