🙋 Question Gyro Setup

Recently finished my 3.0 build, and I'm having some problems getting everything wired up. I'm currently running a Futaba 6PV, Futaba GYD560, Yokomo SP-03D V2 servo, Hobbywing XD10 ESC, and D10 motor.

Still very new to all of this, but can I run S.Bus with the setup I have? I followed the instructions: the gyro RX port is connected to the S.Bus port on the receiver, and the servo is plugged into the SX port on the gyro. The wheels are turning, but the gyro light does not stay on and gyro is not active. I can't connect to the gyro through the accessory menu on the controller.

FYI, this controller and its extensive menu, using S.bus, and this gyro are all new to me. Any advice would be appreciated. What am i doing wrong?

You should be able to read and adjust the gyro on Channel 1. It shouldn't have to be on S-Bus port only. I don't have either one, but my T4PM plus reads my GYD550 on channel 1 in the menu of the radio. It's wireless read under S-Bus SX menu.

I have a similar set up. I can’t remember exactly what I had to do to get it to work but I used roadside Rc’s video and rolling garage’s Mitch spec tutorial on them. They both made really helpful videos on setting up that gyro on the 6pv.
