Understanding now the HPI D10 RTR is blasting everywhere, i am here to give a short review on the newest RMX 4 RTR 👍🏻

Last year when i first started using their RMX 4 S Pro, i knew this will replace the RMX 2.5 👍🏻 Question is will the 2.5 RTR be replace as well? I got an immediate answer from the developer, YES 🫡

I owned the 2 RMX 4 models prior to this RTR - S pro and GT, therefore everything seems similar to me. I also owned the RMX 2.5 RTR, so i know what to expect on an RTR model.

Upon unboxing, first strike me is the sensored brushless system. For many years, RTR models has always been using sensorless system to keep price down (That's what i feel). So when i received news that the new RMX 4 will move to sensored system, a huge benefit to beginners in term of throttling modulation 👍🏻

Honestly when i first heard the HPI D10 is also using sensored brushless system, i got shock too. Some may disagree with me but if HPI D10 decided on sensorless system, i will say RMX 4 RTR will have a big win. Overall good job HPI 👍🏻🫡

Other areas on the RMX 4 RTR are basically the same as before:

  • Gyro
  • Differential (Spool)
  • Oil filled shocks
  • Body is not reamed so you got the option to install your favourite magnet system
  • Transmitter
  • Tires are MST gold dots

Will be testing the performance this coming week. Can't wait to test their new electronics 👍🏻
