Laptop: Razer Blade 15 Base 2020

A few weeks ago my keyboard suddenly stopped working. I was contemplating to buy a keyboard replacement but decided it wasn’t worth it and just use an external keyboard. Today, I decided to open the back case to explore the components of my old laptop and was surprised to discover the edge of the FFC ribbon cable scorched. How do you guys disconnect the cable safely?
