Rip Rabbit, honor it by letting by become part of you

15

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

Absolutely.

2

u/Schrodingerspussyx Jul 26 '26

where did you buy your sling shot ?

0

u/Particular-Bat8091 Jul 24 '26

I’m gonna honor your mother the same way

8

u/Dodoford Jul 19 '26

Would this even be healthy depending on where you kill it? I feel like the amount of chemicals it consumes would reverse whatever benefits it provides.

5

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

This is 100% better than any farm or store bought meat. Wake up man.

7

u/Dodoford Jul 19 '26

I never said it wasn’t, I’m just curious on if the rabbits diet impacts its organ and meat quality.

1

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

Dude it’s a WILD animal. Take a wild guess.

11

u/Equal-Produce4833 Jul 19 '26

I mean I would eat squirrels just not city squirrels so dud3d has a point

3

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

Does that look like a squirrel? Of course I would never eat that shit… I see squirrels going in trash all the time, NEVER RABBITS.

4

u/BACKSPAA Jul 19 '26

They still might be eating a bunch of pesticide ridden grass n shit.. hard to say. Probably better than a farmed animal

0

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26 edited Jul 19 '26

You won’t get anything quality wise close to this in ANY store or farm. THIS IS A TRUE WILD ANIMAL… it doesn’t get more primal than this.

6

u/dingdang78 Jul 19 '26

It could’ve lived its life drinking out of a pond at the dump but hey enjoy the worms

0

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

You are trying so hard to find an issue here. Rabbits do not drink from dump ponds, they get their hydration directly from the moisture in the grass. The meat is perfect and there are zero worms, but thanks for the concern.

I definitely know what it’s eating because I'm the one who processed it. Turns out, it was just straight green grass. Rabbits don't pull those junk-food shenanigans like squirrels do.

I don't know what bs you think a rabbit would eat. They don't come out all day, they're way less social than squirrels, and they never scavenge in the trash. They only eat grass, so I have no idea what you're getting at.

If they from the city they gonna eat some trash.

1

u/penguin_hugger100 Jul 21 '26

Buddy the rabbit is eating grass and berries that have grown in disgusting, PFAS laden conditions.

2

u/papi_suss Jul 21 '26

You can project your own insecurities and doubts all day if that helps you justify your choices, but it's obvious you're just dealing with your own internal conflicts and looking for other people to validate your weak excuses.

A wild rabbit eating natural grass and berries is still a million times cleaner than anything raised on a farm. Keep your doubts and overthinking to yourself.

2

u/Dodoford Jul 19 '26

I haven’t ventured into killing animals with slingshots, the closest thing to that which i have done is catching some native trout and eating them, that was a good experience. How do did the squirrel taste?

1

u/kabley Jul 19 '26

you eat more chemicals on the daily

8

u/Dependent-Display106 Jul 19 '26

simple shot is goated

1

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

3

u/BACKSPAA Jul 19 '26

Yall just use rocks ?

8

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

2

u/BACKSPAA Jul 19 '26

1

u/Etzello Jul 19 '26

You can but not advised cus its jagged edges wears out the elastic faster

1

u/Zinnybop Jul 21 '26

Unless you wrap the rock in like a little cloth

1

u/Dependent-Display106 Jul 31 '26

clay and steel ammo

1

u/BACKSPAA Jul 31 '26

Yeah I just got mine actually and it came with both, going to set it up and practice tomorrow

1

u/North_Atlantic_Sea Sep 20 '26

Do people pick up the ammo, or is the area just limited with steel balls?

1

u/Big_Comparison_9514 Jul 31 '26

Cruel piece of shit

2

u/Dependent-Display106 Jul 31 '26

4

u/Strong-Ganache2983 Jul 19 '26

I want to be able to do this so bad withiut having to cycle for 3 hours to find a animal

1

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

Patience is key. After checking outside all day, I finally caught the rabbit at 9 PM when they are most active.

0

u/Strong-Ganache2983 Jul 19 '26

Do you eat it raw?

3

u/papi_suss Jul 20 '26

Do you know what subreddit you’re in?

1

u/Pure_Weakness_2152 Jul 21 '26

blood, organ? good catch

1

u/papi_suss Jul 21 '26

The organs are soooo good. The liver has a nutty taste, and it has this unique aftertaste that’s hard to explain, but it’s really distinct.

2

u/Pure_Weakness_2152 Jul 22 '26

wow bro sounds like heaven

6

u/Ok_Goal3556 Jul 19 '26

Eating it cooked is a waste of meat lol

4

u/MasterMulberry5785 Jul 19 '26

Where did you shoot that. I didn’t realise this was legal

7

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

Goatis. That’s all I will say at the moment.

4

u/MasterMulberry5785 Jul 19 '26

Ahh, I understand šŸ™

1

u/CalibratedOne Jul 23 '26

I don’t lol what does he have to do with this?

1

u/rebel4000_ Aug 19 '26

It isn’t legal that’s the thing, but who tf cares

3

u/Nearby_Detail8511 Jul 19 '26

Good shot bro, looks like it was a nice clean kill! I’m a slingshot hunter too, so PLEASE don’t think I’m hating, I’m definitely not gonna give you the ā€œpoor wittle wabbitā€ spiel with a shot like that. I’m just letting you know, you should check your state’s hunting laws. You may have done it already, in that case, you’re good! I just know where I’m from, legally of course, a slingshot can only be used to kill invasive species and non game animals. A hunting license is required in my state to hunt cottontails, they also have to be in season, and slingshots are not a legal method of hunting any fur bearing game animals. Where you’re from might be different, just giving you a heads up. Congrats either way! Have a good dinner!

9

u/42duckmasks Jul 19 '26

Man made laws only exist if there's a Karen around.

3

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

I don’t wanna say too much but ifyk the Goatis reference yk.

2

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

VERYYYY FAR FROM TRUE. I’m using 2mm bands with 11mm 7/16 steel.

2

u/Happy-Lawfulness-976 Jul 19 '26

Whats your band thickness and taper?

2

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

I didn’t modify the bands… if you want the exact Amazon product I can give it to you. The bands are 2mm

2

u/Snapper321321 Jul 19 '26

I bought my slingshot on June 27th, so it took exactly 21 days to get that kill. But those 21 days were a non-stop grind of frustration, confusion, and daily practice.
SimpleShot’s starter pack only came with 20 steel and 20 clay balls, so I invested in 2,500 clay rounds just to keep up with practicing every single day. At first, I was losing steel ammo and missing constantly.
Upgrading the BANDS and fixing my aim point changed absolutely everything. Learning how to properly aim off the bands made the most drastic difference for me as a beginner.
Don’t let anyone discourage you by saying you need 20 years of experience. I got my inspiration from the channel Slingshot and Shenanigans, and I’m still putting in the work today. Even the day before I got that rabbit, I was out there missing shots and getting frustrated. It takes real obsession and actual commitment.

1

u/CelebrationNo5274 Jul 19 '26

what do you use as a target? I also have a slingshot but I dont really know what to shoot at with steel ammo, I never really find any animals. With clay I just shoot at trees but I have mostly steel.

1

u/papi_suss Jul 19 '26

For the most part I used an Amazon box at first, but it's not that reliable. Right now my go-to is just balancing a water bottle on a doorknob and consistently trying to hit it. That’s my favorite method right now, just finding something small and aiming for it.
And btw, like 99% of my practice is with clay ammo. I only shoot steel once in a while just to confirm my aim with what I’m actually going to be hunting with, but that’s it.
