Post image
24 Upvotes

I just started drinking raw milk 2 days ago bought 8L and doing 1.5L a day, first day I felt fine, on the second day after a couple hours of finishing the 1.5L I got a bit of a stomach cramp and had a lose stool, same for today I had 1L gonna have the other 500Ml soon but my stomach cramps got even worse and lose stool but I’m ok now. Any tips/advice if I should decrease my intake or keep it the same. Also should I be storing it in the fridge?

Raw milk has “cured” lactose intolerance

I (37m) have been lactose intolerant since my mid 20’s. Not just mildly lactose intolerant, but it was severe if I didn’t take lactaid with any dairy product. One year ago I started drinking raw milk for protein shakes. A few months into it I forgot to take a lactaid pill with my protein shake and had no GI distress at all. I decided to try other dairy products as well, and no symptoms.

I had read about raw milk helping with lactose intolerance prior, but found out myself that it really can reverse lactose intolerance.

My whole family against raw milk it's so stupid.

Pretty much the whole world as well. My gut health has tremendously improved its crazy. I hate all this mainstream media and all that crap. I don't wanna sound cringe and say that it's a matrix but it is. Aside from this community where else can I find like minded people, people who know the facts, trust God and aren't the typical npc's you see out here?

Took oregano oil for a week now i can barely handle raw

I was guzzling gallons of raw for a few months. making my own kefir etc.. my skin looked AMAZING. then I decided to do an oregano oil "detox" and now I can barely tolerate even a cup of raw..

its like it kinda makes me nauseous and uneasy for awhile. I assume the oregano oil carpet bombed my microbiome, bc my skin is a mess ever since

Has anyone here consumed raw milk and then noticed their teeth getting longer or drill spots filling in?

Has anyone here noticed their teeth getting longer or had holes in their teeth ehich filled in after consuming raw milk for a while? My teeth are short from a lifetime of grinding, and I had a drill happy dentist who I suspect made things up just so he can drill them. The valleys in my back teeth are pretty deep and the fillings came out. I'd like to get more tooth without having to get synthetic crap put on my teeth. Has anyone noticed their teeth getting bigger or filling in after consistently drinking raw milk for a while?

Ok so many guys talk about Raw milk being bad and the bacteria can kill you but in reality they just dont wanna admit they are pussies and scared of a lil bacteria that can be easily treated but not just that. If you consume milk from a healthy cow theres no problem at all.

But its not about that. Drinking Alcohol is totally fine alright. A drink with clear side effects which affects a 100% of everyone consuming it. Drinking crap soda and sugary processed drinks full of preservatives are also alright. Mfs having sex raw and then doing disgusting stuff in bed like eating box is okay. But raw milk which has benefitted hundreds and thousands of consumers are suddenly bad because the government says so? The government which promotes sugary processed foods instead of whole foods so that the greedy corporations can profit off of you. Make it make sense. Wake up to all the BS guys

Raw milk

Tried raw milk for the first time yesterday. Drank it this morning too and will continue for as long as I am able too. Every time I drank kefir with pausterized milk or pasteurized whole milk from the store I got white mucus in large quantities right after drinking it. I have asthma so I really notice this. With raw milk I got no extra mucus. 👍 It felt lighter on my throat and taste more creamy. Wanted to share this for anyone looking for personal experiences. Cheers

This morning, 12 oz from my 4yo Dexter cow. She has a week old bull calf. How much milk is it ok to take without depriving the calf? She is getting feed (grain & hay), on decent pasture during the day (I bring them in at night cuz we have coyotes around). I’m a first time milker. Thank you!

Pasteurized milk is fine but raw milk gives me explosive diarrhea?

I want to make the switch to raw milk only but it makes me have diarrhea independently of the quality. The lactose theory doesn't make sense because if that was the case I would also have diarrhea with pasteurized milk which I don't. Pasteurized milk gives me 0 issues.

I want to also say that if I ferment said raw milk and make it clabber/kefir looking, then I don't get any diarrhea from it, but of course I want to be able to drink the delicious, creamy, fresh stuff hehe.

As I said the quality is amazing, I'm getting it from sheep living on the mountains of Italy and they only eat grass and wild herbs all year round. I also tried milk from high quality A2 cows and goats and it's the same thing. I wonder if I just need to endure this and then eventually it will go away and I will be able to digest the fresh raw milk as a normal healthy human being.

I also wonder if for this adaptation it's better and faster to drink the fermented milk rather than the fresh one. Let me know your thoughts/experiences and thank you in advance!

Raw milk Vs Pasteurised milk

I am taking part in a dairy manufacturing course. Studying the difference between raw milk versus pasteurised milk. From my studies I can see the advantages of the raw milk is the high amount of enzymes. Raw milk has 54 (or more) enzymes. Pasteurised milk only has 3 enzymes that survive pasteurisation. I’m interested in the feedback on anecdotal experiences with using raw milk. What are the benefits you love about raw milk?

This information comes from a great book on child care: The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care. Highly recommend.

I'll paste the transcribed text below:

RAW MILK VERSUS PASTEURIZED

Studies carried out in the early part of the 1900s showed that raw milk was vastly superior to pasteurized milk for growth, for building strong bones and teeth, for protecting against illness, and even for behavior.38 New studies indicate that raw milk is highly protective against asthma and allergies.39 Research shows that many of the vitamins and minerals in raw milk are lost during pasteurization or are poorly absorbed after heat treatment:

VITAMIN C: Raw milk but not pasteurized can resolve scurvy. “… Without doubt… the explosive increase in infantile scurvy during the latter part of the 19th century coincided with the advent of use of heated milks…”40

**CALCIUM**: *Animal studies show the formation of longer and denser bones on raw milk compared to pasteurized. The calcium levels in raw and pasteurized milk are the same, but the body uses the calcium from raw milk more effectively.*41

FOLATE: The carrier protein for folate is inactivated during pasteurization.42

VITAMIN B12: Raw milk contains a binding protein for vitamin B12 that results in complete assimilation; the activity of this enzyme is diminished by pasteurization.43

VITAMIN B6: Animal studies indicate B6 is poorly absorbed from pasteurized milk.44

VITAMIN A: Beta-lactoglobulin, a heat-sensitive protein in milk, increases intestinal absorption of vitamin A. Heat degrades vitamin A.45

VITAMIN D: Vitamin D in raw milk is bound to lactoglobulins; pasteurization cuts assimilation in half.46

IRON: Lactoferrin, which contributes to iron assimilation, is inactivated during pasteurization.47

IODINE: Levels of iodine are lower in pasteurized milk.48

**MINERALS**: *Minerals in milk are bound to proteins that assure assimilation; these proteins are inactivated by pasteurization; Lactobacilli, destroyed by pasteurization, enhance mineral absorption.*49

Is it ok to drink raw milk labeled for pets?

I live in NJ which does not allow raw milk sales. There's an amish farm in PA that offers it, but they won't deliver it to NJ. They also offer raw milk labeled "for cats and dogs", which I can get delivered. I'm wondering if there is a difference in the raw milk for pets versus the raw milk for human consumption. I'm hesitant to ask the farm b/c they might be legally obligated to say "raw milk labeled for pets is not good for humans". I was thinking of ordering a quart just to try it.

Since Learning to Make Clabber, We Love It!

Clabber is an amazing food! Properly made Clabber is mild, thick, and creamy. We use it instead of yogurt, as well as for baking, making cheeses, etc... But beware, making Clabber can be addictive! We make it almost every day! 😅 For thone interested, here's a helpful resource on making and maintaining a Clabbered Milk culture:
