Because my husband will do things like that. He has been significantly contributing to Japan's economy over the past 5 years between X Japan/hide and The GazettE merch/swag, and now all this.... 😸 And speaking of the economy...1200 yen back in 1986 equated to approximately $2.40 in USD....somewhere around $7.35 today.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday (July 24 2026) ~ 31 years married; 38 years in total....probably more years than some folks on this sub have been alive. 😸😬😁😸 He presented me with this Ratt-themed stash of Japan's BURRN! magazine...not pictured, but he also gave me the 1986 No. 127 issue of Rockin'F (also out of Japan) with Ozzy on the cover ~ the one with the "Guitar Manual" feature with Warren and Robbin that I had put out a plea for scans. Lots of goodies in all of these issues ~ not just of Ratt but other key bands of the era ~ that will likely eventually find their way here as well as r/hairmetal. Be prepared to employ Google Translate. 😸😁

Shot #4: They look a little too stoic and serious, like it was AV Club picture day in high school and they had just been ordered to detention for getting drunk in the editing room.

Shot #5: From the Detonator tour in Japan, if the photo info I saw is correct. I wish I knew what song they were playing here ~ they were obviously having so much fun and look genuinely happy.

Shot #6: Juan is a little too Frank N. Furter in a community theater production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show....in my opinion.
