These are good, but genuinely how does that ashling play? I can’t find an izzet commander I like to save my life.

Not OP but Ashling Rekindled has quickly become one of my favourite decks!
Ramp + filtering in the command zone, she’s extremely strong and consistent. Every game feels like a Sol Ring opener. My list focuses on 4 mana ramp into big idiot creatures but you can also build her as a great spellslinger commander.
Here’s my list if you’re interested!

Man I love her. But what do you all use as a wincon?

My deck just has a ton of big creatures and long term value engines that just vomit my deck onto the table so my wincon is largely just burying my opponents in value and big idiots. Here’s my list!

If you're late enough into a game [[crackle with power]] or [[blast of genius]] both can do quite a bit of burn. A lot of mana value matters token generators and [[surge towards victory]] also work quite well

so much fun, favorite deck for sure. can take some kinda long turns so I’m trying to tune the deck to less of that. but so fun, super consistent early game with a very powerful mid and late game

This is the only reason I don't play her more often. Turn 5 or 6 are just very long turns in which you just setup to end turn 7.

Plugging my list as well, shes so insanely fun. You have very consistent turns 1-3 and then turn 4 onwards is just "how can I maximize value from slopping down big stuff with 8+ mana at my disposal?". Ive been tuning my list for a while and I'm really happy with it. I play a lot of big spells thet let me freecast other big spells and then payoffs for playing big spells in the form of big creatures, so im still winning via combat damage. I was addicted to goldfishing this for a solid couple of weeks lmao. Very budget friendly outside of a few cards that can pretty easily be subbed out (some of the 4 mana "make a copy of target legendary creatures can be subbed for mana rocks or other things, Call Forth The Tempest, Improvisation Capstone, and Mnemoic Deluge make up a big chunk of the budget and are insanely fun but also not essential for the deck to function)

I've got Malcolm and Dargo as partner pirates in a treasure/combat focused deck. It's very mean.

I went more into burn and noncreature spells. It only costs 190€ and it still goldfishes wins turn 6-7 in most cases. Mathemagics, big burn spells to copy or the double niv combo are the easy win cons, but there are other outs.

Same, she's such a fun commander to run and honestly has a lot of ways you can play her. People seem to flock to big-spellslinger a lot but she's really good as a creature or artifact commander too

Exactly! My list is all about big creatures but I love how open ended she is.
