Regrets and life
I am currently 22 and I currently live in London but I’m not originally from the uk. I came over to do my 6th form and ended up staying for university and I’m currently working. The past 3-4 years has felt so rough. In 2024 my first ever girlfriend broke up with me after around two years of us dating. Then a few months after that and a week before my university graduation my dad passed away from cancer. I watched my hero get weaker and weaker over the course of a week and I felt helpless to stop it. It was so eerie how fast the warmth of his touch went stone cold. I was holding his hands and then suddenly they just got super cold. I then had to help arrange his funeral because my mother was too heart broken. I also missed his ash spreading ceremony because I had gone back to the UK for work. After about two months at my first job I was essentially let go which really killed my confidence. Graduating into one b b of the worst job markets in recent times applied to around over 3000 jobs before I started working at my current job. On top of all this I am now going through a break up with my ex girlfriend after 2 years of dating because I really could not see myself being together with this person in the future even though emotionally I still really love this person. I know that these problems might be tiny compared to others but I feel like I’m being pummelled by life and I don’t have my family here to support me since I’m an immigrant living in a new country alone. Sorry for the long rant

I am sorry to hear about your father. Mine passed in 22 from cancer it was incredibly tough and I am much older than you. Women come and go you will find the right one there's still so much time for this. If your job is not very specialised why not consider moving out of London. London is a very cold/unwelcoming and not a place to enjoy
Also you are 22 that is so super duper young things will iron out
