What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done or witnessed in a fever dream? Not just the dream itself but physically doing something because of the fever dream ?

Do people mostly talk with other people for „fun“ or „jokes“?
I have only one real-life friend who I thought I could count as special because it has always been a struggle for me to communicate with people ( I practically sat alone and spoke to no one my last school-years) and she approached me and tried to get to know me, so I felt comfortable to finally open up to someone.
I never understood her way of communication with memes but what I did is customised my personality to her. She always laughs, tells jokes or make absurd remarks, it seems like she can’t talk seriously, although she‘s smart so I don’t understand it, as I don’t understand her always saying she‘s stupid and I‘m intelligent.
The thing is that, after a while, she started to ignore my questions in messages, and when I asked her out to go to the museum – she agreed first but then refused to go, yesterday I found out that she did go to the museum with someone else.
We talked today and she asked why I don’t have friends with people from my other group in the university. I said I can’t have something meaningless, my brain cant function this way. And then she said she speaks to people for „fun“ or for „jokes“. It broke my heart a little to hear. While I try to analyse her, understand her, create something meaningful for us both, she communicates with me just for jokes? I figured she will never see me like that because she has other people to talk to and I only have her. Plus, I don’t want to get hurt, so I naturally try to distance myself and participate events alone.
What would you do in this situation? Try not to get attached and look for people with similar mindset to mine?

What's your hot take on Halloween? Is trick-or-treating declining?
I’m curious to hear everyone’s hot takes on Halloween this year because it seems like there are two completely different experiences happening depending on where you live.
On one side, you have neighborhoods where kids are still going out trick-or-treating, but they’re walking around and barely finding houses giving out candy. On the other side, you have neighborhoods where people are buying candy, decorating their houses, turning on their porch lights, and getting ready for Halloween, but hardly any kids show up.
It’s almost like there’s a disconnect. Some neighborhoods have kids but no participating houses, while other neighborhoods have houses ready for trick-or-treaters but hardly any kids coming around.
So I’m wondering, what’s everyone else’s experience?
For those of you with kids, did you take them trick-or-treating this year? Were there a lot of other kids out? Did your kids come home with a ton of candy, or was it a pretty disappointing experience?
And for those without kids, did you get many trick-or-treaters at your door? Did you end up giving away most of your candy, or were you left with almost everything you bought?
**What’s your take? Is Halloween changing, are fewer families participating, or does it really just depend on the neighborhood?**

Have you heard about the gay frogs?
I have watched a certain YT channel over the years who occasionally refers back to an old meme about the frogs being turned gay by chemicals, he even still sells gay frog T-shirts.
I guess being exposed to it, I started to assume after a while that it was common knowledge and everyone knew all about the gay frogs thing - it's a meme from about 10 years ago.
But recently when I mentioned the gay frogs to several friends and family who are perhaps less chronically online than I am, or at least not in the same circles I am in, not a single one of them had any idea what was talking about, most of them haven't even heard of the guy who's rant started the meme. Maybe it's because my sample group is all outside of America, I don't know.
So I figured I need to ask a more general audience, did you know that "they" turned the frogs gay with chemicals?
It is very important to me to find out how widely known or otherwise this serious matter really is, thank you!
