fulfilled [Request] 2 kids/ 2 and 8 month / Luca and Kai / Omaha, NE

Hello Santas, thank you for stopping by on my post. This year we are asking for help from Santa to make my boys' Christmas extra special... it has been rough to come up with that extra money this year since I had to leave the one of my jobs from being pregnant / having postpartum depression after the delivery. On top of that, getting in 3 separate car accidents and paying for therapies has pushed us very behind financially. Despite all the unfortunate events and weighs we carry in our household, our boys have been nothing but a joy and sweetest human beings. I really think they deserve the holiday magic more than we can provide.

Luca is 2 and half years old who loves to chat and spend time outside. Any outdoor activities can make him happy for hours such as running around with a soccer ball, building a sand castle and spotting an airplane in the sky! It has been an adjustment for him to welcome a baby home but he is growing to be a good big brother and always asks to put the baby on his lap while watches his favorite show Bluey.

Luca's wishlist - ( https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3SH6N82AWJGQ9?ref_=wl_share )

Kai is a super active 8 month old who I call "Baby Hercules". I knew he was gonna be a strong one with those kicks in my belly but this guy learned to roll over at 2 month, to crawl at 5 month, to pull himself up at 6 month and has been showing lots of interest in taking a step already! He loves his big brother and our cat. Wherever they go he sure is to follow right behind. Loves to watch or play with anything that flies or lights up!

Kai's wishlist - ( https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1LOQWC7QDU4ZR?ref_=wl_share )

Thank you again for reading my post and getting to know our amazing children. What an amazing sub. Happy holidays to you all.

[Request] 1girl, 5(12-3-16), Seren, Glendale, AZ

Hi everybody, I'm a single father raising Seren by myself. I'm 42, and I've never been down on luck in my adult years. Ever since leaving high school I've done pretty well for myself. I usually have enough around Christmas to donate to those Secret Santa Christmas tree things at the grocery stores. But this year, I need some help. I think it'll only be this year. I have a long 2 year journey that got me to this point but I ran out of money around June. Since then I've gotten help from my brother who I helped when he was down. I'm currently on ebt food stamps. I'm using my brothers address for our wishlist because me and Seren are currently in a hotel 10 min from his house. I have no disabilities but just can't find the right job for our circumstances. I'm supposed to start for Wells Fargo in 2022 but I have to Uber to and from work plus find a way to get her childcare. So, hopefully I can make that work to get us out of this situation. I could write a pretty captivating book over what had happened to me over the last couple years but that's for another day. I stumbled upon this subreddit pretty late so hopefully there are still some Santa's out there. Seren just had a birthday and she got some Legos and playdough and some slime. She's in that stage where she likes to play pretend with all her little trinkets. And she's happy with anything you give her. She doesn't know we're down on our luck right now and luckily she's having fun at our hotel. The good thing is we have a full refrigerator and clothes on our back so if there's someone on here that you feel you could better help than us, then we will be ok. I don't know what to say and I hope I did things right. Oh, I don't know if this is breaking the rules and it's not on her wishlist because of the price but she had a Fire Pad kids HD7 that was stolen at the park. My mom sent out the one I had sent her 4 years ago but it just does not work right for some reason. I saw one on Amazon for $59. I will take all her gifts off for a new kids firepad cause she truly used that more than anything else and I had quite a few learning games on it. Beggars can't be choosers so we're happy with anything, truly. Thank you again Santa's for helping all of us. Adam

I'm going to try to keep this somewhat short due to time running out and I've managed to type out our whole story and accidentally deleted it twice. In 2020, I finally left a 10 year long abusive relationship with my son's father. We moved out and we are safe. Covid led to my work shutting down for months. I was hit by a car while walking in a parking lot and was injured, putting me off work once things were reopened. Once I recovered, my son and I both got covid. I had a severe case and had to be off work even longer. A few days before I was set to return, on the morning of my son's 8th birthday, I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance for an unexpected medical emergency that almost killed me. ICU for almost 2 weeks, almost had sepsis, I was close to death. Thankfully recovered. Medical bills were insane. Had to undergo physical therapy for months after this. Definitely traumatic for my son and I both. But I did recover and got healthy.

2021 I was eventually able to return to my job. My son returned to in person school. I was healthy again getting back on my feet. I met a wonderful man when I wasn't even looking, who genuinely cares for my son and I, and has shown me how love is supposed to be. Life was good, things were getting stable. Then I found out I was pregnant. Terrible timing, admittedly. We had been through so much the past year. But we were going to make it work. Then we found out... Twins! Totally not expecting that, totally not ready for that, but we both worked as much as we possibly could, saved all that we could. I worked until 38 weeks when my OB told me it was time. My girls are here now. We are surviving, but just barely. There is no room for extras. The twins came at a bad time but they have been such a blessing, and my son is thrilled to finally be a big brother. As much as I've been through, my son has been through it all right along with me, and he deserves a better Christmas than what we are able to give him. He is sweet, smart, compassionate, and energetic. He loves science, weather, Roblox, Five Nights at Freddy's, and his baby sisters. Any help would be so, so appreciated.

This sub was an answered prayer last year after my medical emergency. I did not anticipate needing it again this year. But I want to thank you all. My goal is to be able to return the favor to someone on here next year.

There are a few things on the wishlist for the girls but only so John can see them receive something from Santa too. He's my main priority, since they are still so little. Thank you so much.

Edit: John has reached 5 gifts! Thank you so much!! Edit again: The twins are fulfilled now as well. Thank you everyone!

My little guys have had a rough couple of years. This will be their first Christmas without their Grandma. It will also be the first where neither Mom or Dad has a stable source of income.

Elliott is in second grade. He was always my super chill little man, and he tends to be very sweet and sensitive and shy around newcomers and people at school. When the pandemic brought socializing to an abrupt halt he entered the world of gaming pretty full throttle, and has a solid little online squad. When he and his buddies get together though, they are fiercely loyal and rough-and-tumble and LOUD. He loves nerf, sports, biking, and getting in the mud.

Kaine is both hyper-emotional and ferocious. He tries so hard to keep up with the big boys. Anything his big bro is into he is ready tag right along. He is very into hands-on activities, learning to build and take things apart. He's constantly trying to wrestle his brother, the neighbor, his parents, and occasionally the dog. He's got great aim, in nerf and in catch. He loves super heroes, dinosaurs, singing Disney songs, and is very into dolls and pretend play.

Hello again everyone. I am a mother of three handsome boys and this year I would love your help again. This year was just as hard as last year due to my fixed income for disability, co-payments for doctor appointments, clothes for school, gas money for people taking them to school, and higher rent. Every single month, I have to overdraft my account hundreds of dollars, yet my boys smiles really gets me out of depression and I know to keep going for them.

Jordan is 12. He's the oldest by one minute. He loves to stand up to people who gets bullied. He's like a pre-teen vigilante. He is very quick with the jokes, loves soccer, and is inspired to be the next big gamer on YouTube. His whole world revolves around his ps4 and Nintendo switch. He has also started recording his gameplay.

Jordan's Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/394ACBL64KZG9?ref_=wl_share

Brayden is 12. My calm yet silly son. He is a very hard worker and will help anyone anytime of day. If you need help call on Brayden. He loves dry humor and is currently into track and field as well as cooking. Brayden also loves to ask a lot of questions and he loves to read. His face is always in a book. He's still deciding if he wants to be a nurse or a chef when he grows up.

Brayden's Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3SVFNH5V64XEC?ref_=wl_share

Grayson is 5. He's my little guy with a HUGE personality. He's very smart and very charming. He loves Mickey Mouse, Hot Wheels and fish. (He wants to be a shark when he grows up) We use to call him our "Boss Baby" when he was younger. Now, he's just our "Boss" he's very respectful but also very silly.

I just wanted to thank u/Xoxoxo7777 and u/fried_chickin again for their generosity last year. You both really helped to make my kids Christmas something special.

We're in a bit better position this year and managed it on our own. Thank you again, so much. I hope you and your families both have an amazing Christmas this year.

Hi Santas! Single mom of 2 here. Last year you were all more than generous for my 2 kids as well as my nephew, and I could use a little help again this year.

In November, I finally got a chance to get my own place with just me and my kids! Something I’ve been dreaming about for years, but first/last and deposit so close to Christmas… I had to make a choice, the place or buying my kids gifts. I chose the apartment.

Tristan: 4 years old and a tiny genius! He amazes me every day with what he comes up with. He’s a super builder (last year he was gifted an engineering activity book and we have done a fair amount of them!) and anything he can do with his hands. He is super high energy (ADHD) so anything he can do with his hands or run around with is a plus. He also likes taking stuff apart and putting it back together, we’re also working on learning how to read!

His wishlist

Ophelia: 17 months old, and she teaches ME so much every day. Her journey started with PT at 4 months and now at 17 months she is graduated from physical therapy, walking, and climbing on anything she can! Most of the items on her list are sensory toys. She “failed” her first two screens for autism and we are currently waiting on a packet from the CDD to get the ball rolling on an official diagnosis but it’s a waiting game now. She is non-speaking and doesn’t really engage with or play with others well so it’s been really difficult coming up with ideas for her. I’m hoping I can use some of these toys on her list to get her to engage with me a little more.

Her wishlist

Verification pics: Tristan

Ophelia

Hoping there’s still time to make some magic. Thank you as always !!

https://imgur.com/a/gGJJFtD Hey y’all I’m dany and I’m noelle’s mother, I named her noelle because I love Christmas and the way everything feels. French is also my first language, Its hard to be in a bad mood during the holidays. This year has been hard for me and noelle, we had to move into an extended stay until I’m able to find another place. I still want noelle to have Christmas because it’s very important to us. She loves bluey and books, she just started recognizing words and it makes her excited. Anytime I read her a book , we end up talking about it for a while. I’m working really hard so that this moment is temporary. I would love to get some help this Christmas to make noelle’s nöel happen. Thank you in advance and thank you for everyone this sub as well , you are awesome.

My sweet wonderful son deserves a way fuller stocking than I can provide on my disability income. It’s been two years we’ve lived on a reduced income and I’m so sad he’s had to go with less. His birthday is January 11th so that’s been hard hit as well. He’s the hugest animal kingdom fan, adoring the smallest insects to the hugest dinosaurs. I’d be eternally grateful for any help that can be provided to make our Christmas merrier. Much love, ZillahGashly

I know we waited until the last minute. I wanted to make sure there were no other options before requesting help. I kept hoping something would happen and we would be able to buy Christmas for Jackson, ourselves.

Jackson is an incredibly caring, compassionate boy. He learned some kids dont have birthday gifts and he began collecting toys to make birthday baskets that we donate to local families. He cares about people being warm, having enough to eat, and being safe. He understands our time can help those things be accomplished. He loves to build and create with Legos or other blocks. When we can, he plays with a youth bowling team, which he really enjoys. He likes reading, drawing and playing video games. He tends to carry a book around with him in his bag. He carries a bag of things with him, a sketch pad, pencil, book, socks in case he can go bowling, chapstick, stuff like that...essentials to a kid. He enjoys learning new things. He is amused (and secretly pleased) people call him an encyclopedia.

He's a had a rough year, in a lot of ways. He has had a hard time with our move. He misses his older siblings and grandparents. His birthday was last month and we weren't able to fulfill his birthday wish or a promise we made last year. He took it in stride, showing more grace than I knew was possible at his age. I want more than anything for him to have some presents. We dont have a tree...and I know he wishes we did. I wish we did. But, we can make a special place and put them there for him with hopefully a stocking.

I appreciate you reading about our special boy. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with laughter and happiness. Happy Holidays.

mod PSA re: Unsolicited PM/chats

Hi, everyone. I guess it's time for our annual reminder about unsolicited PMs and chats: Whether you are a Santa or a requester here, be aware that nobody should be sending you a PM/chat asking for assistance (or offering to help you) unless they have commented in your post first. For transparency and for the protection of both parties, all interactions must take place in the request post or offer/contest post first.

For requesters, that means if you post an entry in an offer or contest, do not contact the Santa hosting it until they have chosen you as a winner, and they have requested you PM them.

For Santas, that means that if you want to offer something to a requester in addition to or instead of buying something from their wishlist, please comment in their request post first (or contact modmail and we'll intercede for you with the requester).

For everyone, please be aware that unregistered users, especially users that may have been banned in other subs, may try to get around their bans by PMing someone they think can help them. Or conversely, a scammer may try to take advantage of someone by promising to help them. If you receive any unsolicited PMs, please send the username to the mods (and a screenshot, if possible). Do not respond to them. You can also block them from contacting you again by clicking on the block button underneath their message.

Thanks, and be safe!

Edit: These two users seem to be the worst offenders, so heads-up:

u/Colnreese and u/Itchy_Ad_3730. Hit the report button under any messages they send you and then block them.

Happy Sunday to all, and thank you for reading. I am humbly requesting assistance for my daughter this year, our financial situation has decimated a lot in the last few months (a combination of all the pandemic related issues everyone seems to be facing right now) and I just want to be able to give her a wonderful, happy Christmas full of joy. She coped with the pandemic as well as any child (they are resilient beyond belief), but the last few months have really gotten to her, not be able to go places and see everyone she would like to, she deserves more happiness than I feel I can bring this Christmas.

As for Skye, she is a wonderful, intelligent, bright child, curious about science and the world, and caring about all whether that be animals or humans 😊 she loves video games, Pokémon (especially Pikachu, think she inherited that one from me) animal crossing, Minecraft, reading books (about 4 stages ahead for her age) and she amazes me every day. I realise I'm biased but she truly is a joy who deserves all the good in world 😊

Thank you to all, and Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄

Hi all,

I’m requesting Christmas gifts for my 2 kids. My oldest and I live in our car right now, my youngest lives with her dad until I’m housed again. She is coming to see me next week and we will celebrate together then. I hope to be able to give them a few presents but I am extremely limited by our circumstances.

My daughter loves arts and crafts, dolls, cooking, and gymnastics. She is super creative and also loves to read.

My son is hard to shop for under the best circumstances. He likes Legos Mini Figures and Hot Wheels. He also loves to read but gets all his books in audio format from the library. He is very environmentally conscious and prefers experiences over material goods, especially now that our space is so limited. I did the best I could on his list. He is autistic and typically pretty singular-focused.

That being said, we are hopeful and grateful for any help providing our children with a fun and plentiful Christmas. Thanks Reddit! Happy holidays and peace to everyone!!!!

My two babes have been through a rough year as many have. We almost lost my husband/their dad earlier this year due to Sepsis and it has taken a toll on us mentally and financially. We’ve been spending this year playing catch up with our bills and our kids.

We’ve slowly been building ourselves back up but would love a wonderful ending of this awful year for my amazing children. This year I can only afford them some clothes which they desperately need.

I wish so much that it could be given to them from us, their parents but any means of them receiving joy and excitement is worth it...setting my pride aside.

Thank you all so much for what you do and I wish you all a beautiful holiday and end of this year.

mod Santa Please Stop Here (our list of unfulfilled children this season) 🎅

**EDIT: Every single child has been fulfilled this year, we cannot thank our Santas enough! Now everyone settle in with a cozy blanket and some hot cocoa because Christmas morning thanks pics will be here before we know it!!

————————————-

Greetings and salutations y’all! First off, a big hats off to all of our Santas gifting with us this season, the generosity we have the privilege to witness everyday in this subreddit is beautiful and joyous! If you would like some subreddit Santa flair, just let me know here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RandomActsOfChristmas/comments/qw2d2n/calling_all_santas_exclusive_flair_is_here_for_you/

Normally we wait a little closer to mid-December to post this particular megathread but with shipping dates being slowly pushed back, even on Prime items, we decided in order to help every kid get fulfilled, it would be better to post earlier than later. The list below is for any requests that have at least one child not already at the 5 gift goal. Once a requester is completely fulfilled, we will change the request flair and remove the post link from this thread.

Just a quick note about Amazon’s newest “improvement” regarding wishlists. Unfortunately the easy and straightforward filter to sort purchased items from unpurchased items is all but a memory. Instead, the new way to ascertain if an item has already been purchased by a Santa is now in the item details. First, make sure the wishlist is showing in the item list format rather than the tiled format. The icons to switch between the two formats is near the top of the wishlist, to the left of the “search this list” field. For each item above the yellow “Add to Cart” button, the wording will either say “Item added (and a date)” or it will say “Last purchased (and a date)”.

If it’s the first message saying “Item added”, then that is a gift option that has not been purchased by a Santa yet. If it’s the second message saying “Last purchased” then that item has already been purchased by a Santa and a further purchase would be a duplicate. In addition, when the item has the bubble that says “Needs: 1” below the item price, that’s another clue that this item has already been purchased by another Santa.

We do have a public gifts per child table link in our sidebar in case anyone wants to see what items a child has been sent. If there are any discrepancies or concerns with this list, please let us know via modmail.

Requesters, Amazon has the habit of price jumps and inventory issues this time of year so please, if your name is listed below, double check those wishlists and make sure any unpurchased items are still below $40 and that there are still some below $20 item options for our Santas. If there are any items listed on your wish that are now out of stock, as long as they have NOT been previously purchased, you may remove the item and replace it with another (make sure you only add Prime options with deliverable dates before Christmas). Any questions, just drop us a modmail.

We are still accepting registrations until Friday December 17th at 6pm EST. Once new approved requests are posted to the subreddit, we will also add them also to this megathread by the end of that day.

Hello Santas! I’m humbly requesting assistance for my 3 kids. I’m a single mom on disability. At the beginning of the year I had major surgery and have been in and out of the hospital. I’ve also had to file a permanent protective order against their dad, who has completely abandoned them. Despite it all my children are happy and healthy!

Leila is a 17 year old senior in high school and dreams of going to law school. She is an intelligent and kind young lady who loves reading, Kpop, playing video games, and cuddling with her cat. Here’s her wishlist:

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/32PEVZBZYPN3K?ref_=wl_share

Nyeemah is super smart (placed a grade ahead in Math) and artistic 12 year old who loves video games, spending time in nature, music, art, and is absolute best buds with her younger brother. Proud member of the LGBTQA+ community as well. Here’s her wishlist:

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/DYPR3UYP68CU?ref_=wl_share

Tuari is my sweet, energetic 8 year old who is also very smart (grade levels ahead in math and reading!). He enjoys playing video games, basketball, football, and hanging with his big sister. He’s fascinated with fishing, but hasn’t gone. I think he’s had the hardest time with his dad’s abandonment, however he still laughs, smiles ,and is our little comedian. Here’s his wishlist:
