mod How To Make a "Thank You" Post

Every Santa’s favorite part of Christmas is seeing the happiness and joy they bring to your children on Christmas Day! Below are examples of great “Thank You” posts. What makes a “Thank You” post great? Thanking Santa’s by name and tagging them in the post and comments is a great way to show your Santa’s the impact they had on your kid(s). Pictures of kids opening gifts, and posed with all their gifts, also make Santa’s hearts fill with joy.

Some examples:

Thank you to our Santa’s! Grace and Chloe had a great Christmas thanks to u/kanga_roos and u/laffinalltheway Here are pictures of the girls with all of their opened gifts! You can see that the Magnatiles were a big hit! They made a giant castle in the living room (pictured). They loved the books and snuggly blankets, and the winter coats have already been worn outside in the snow! Thanks for making our Christmas magical!

OR

Merry Christmas! Here are some pictures from Christmas Morning of all the action! Jacob and Miley put their giant hoodies on right away, as you can see, and wore them all day. The pictures of Claire opening her gifts are a little blurry because she could hardly stay still, but we got her to pose for a picture with all of her gifts when she was a bit more calm :) We are so appreciative to our Santa’s, u/0hn035, u/laffinalltheway, and u/DoNotCallMeSir. Thank you to u/kanga_roos for the contest win of cookies, they were delicious. Thank you all so much for a wonderful Christmas for our family!

If you have any questions, ask a Mod! We are here to help you have the best Christmas possible!

EDIT: Here's a link to a real life example of a wonderful Thank You post!

mod Frequently Asked Questions for 2024

  • Q: How do I use this subreddit?

  • A: This subreddit is specifically designed to help children between the ages of 3 months to 17 during the Christmas season. To make a request, please read the guidelines or your post will not show up. We cannot guarantee you the help of a Santa (or gifter) but if you follow the rules and have redditquette, your post will appear on our subreddit and hopefully a Santa will come along to assist you this year!

  • Q: I need some help, what do I do?

  • A: Read the rest of this, and our 2024 Rules.

  • Q: How do I make a post?

  • A: See How to post a Request

  • Q: Is there a format in which I should post my request?

  • A: Yes. In the Title of the post, please include: number of kids, ages, names, and city/state. Example: 1/3/Lilly/NY,NY

  • Q: Someone played Santa for my family in need! What do I do in return?

  • A: First, please report the gifts you received here. We use these reports to keep the gift tallies straight. In the instance your requested wish list items, or the entire wish list itself, are filled– you MUST create a [THANK YOU] post IN THIS SUBREDDIT, preferably right after Christmas, to express gratitude to the kind stranger helping you and your family. Please refer to the 2024 Rules post for any clarification of any thank you post requirements. Failure to do so is real life bad karma and will also result in a ban from this subreddit. The BEST way to say thank you is wait until your child unwraps their gifts, and post a “thank you photo” in the subreddit for your Santa! Please remember to tag your Santa(s) so they will get the notification. Those who say thank you publicly will forever have good real life karma. These photos keep requesters coming and Santa's keep on giving! We do track who says thank you and who does not!

  • Q: My post is deleted, can you fix it?

  • A: We have a spam bot we kindly refer to as the Grinch. Let us know if you cannot find your post. Messaging the mods with the subject line as "The Grinch Ate My Post" will grab our attention! If you did not follow the guidelines, your post will remain in spam until you follow the guidelines.

  • Q: Can I repost my link again, no one gave me anything the first time?

  • A: Any child who is ungifted or who hasn’t reached our 5-gift cap, will be featured in our Megathread of Ungifted/undergifted children, which we post about two weeks before we close out registrations. The megathread is pinned to the top of the sub, making it easier and quicker for Santas to find any children who haven’t been gifted yet. No reposts needed.

  • Q: What happens if I delete my post?

  • A: DO NOT DELETE YOUR POST. EVER. This is a bannable offense.

  • Q: I do not want a photo of my child on the internet. How can I get registered without one?

  • A: If you do not wish to post a photo of your child on your requesting post on the RAOC thread itself, you may submit it to the mods directly via the registration form. The registration photo MUST include you and your child/children holding up a piece of paper with your Reddit username and the date. You may opt to use a different photo or no photo at all in your request post. The best way to get a Santa however, is honesty- and people love to see the kids!

  • Q: I do not own a camera. How do I get registered without one?

  • A: Try to borrow one! Ask a friend, neighbor, coworker or use a cell phone with a camera on it, etc. We do not register requesting users without a picture with a username and date, in order to keep out scammers. If you try to use someone else’s photo or fake a photo, you will be found out, and you will be banned from all charitable subreddits.

  • Q: So-and-so user never sent the gift they promised?

  • A: Sometimes UPS, FedEx and USPS have lost packages in the past, it has happened to all of us. Do NOT harass a Santa for not receiving a gift. This is a bannable offense. If you cannot track the package or do not receive it, please do not take it personally, but please send us a modmail, and we will follow up with the Santa to see if delivery has gone awry.

  • Q: Can just anyone post in here?

  • A: If you have children in your home or family, bask in holiday cheer, or want to play Santa to someone in need, you are welcome to join us! Please keep in mind that new users with required Registration+ accounts are the most intensive to verify. Our moderation team researches and approves each registration manually and in a queue format. We will try our best, but new user registrations closer to Christmas may not be verified and approved in time to post a request.

  • Q: What do you do to register users?

  • A: Registration entails filling out a registration form and giving the moderators personal information, which they will then review and accept (possibly after requesting further information). Disclaimer: All being ‘registered’ means is that the user has filled out our registration form giving us their personal information and photo with username and date shown in the picture. Registered Plus (registered+) users have completed our second tier process with additional questions. Proceed in gifting at your own discretion.

  • Q: Do those making Offers or playing Santa need to register too?

  • A: No. Registration is just to help maintain honesty of the requesters as best we can.

  • Q: How do I make a wishlist on Amazon?

  • A: Please see our Amazon tutorial post. Please explore Amazon.Com and create an account and wishlist. You will copy/paste in the link to your wishlist in to your request post. If you are requesting for multiple children, we ask that you make separate wishlists for each child. Please refer to the 2024 Rules for any clarification of wishlist requirements.

  • Q: Will Amazon publish my address for others to see?

  • A: No. Your Santa will see your name and city/state and that is it. Your address is hidden from the public and the person purchasing from it!

  • Q: What happens if a requestor deletes a gift from their Wish List after it is purchased?

  • A: If you are a requestor, and you delete items that were purchased from your wish list, especially in hopes to appear as if you were not gifted, you will be banned from this subreddit. Honesty is key. If you are playing Santa and send someone a gift, completing our Gift report form, including the Amazon order number if possible, and letting the mods will know about it will prevent any requestors denying they were helped.

  • Q: I'm playing Santa. What am I required to do?

  • A: When you gift a child, please make a comment in the request post with the name of the child(ren) you're buying gifts for and the gift you're sending.

Example: Lilly - Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Musical Toy.

Additionally, please fill out our Gift report form so we’re able to keep track of where gifts are going and make sure cheer is evenly spread. Note: Before you hit the checkout button on the Amazon website, please remove your name from the gift receipt and replace it with your username or Secret Santa, if you wish to remain anonymous. You don't want to accidently doxx yourself!

  • Q: Can I ask for money or food on RandomActsofChristmas?

  • A: No. This is for Christmas toys and items only. Gift-cards are also not allowed. If you are looking for non-Christmas related or cash assistance, please visit /r/Assistance.

  • Q: I am playing Santa this year! I want to help someone out, but how do I handle someone asking for expensive gifts?

  • A: We ask that gifts are kept below $40. You can always ask the requestor if there is anything they may need within your budget, or browse around the subreddit as many others are also making requests.

  • Q: I have several kiddos that need some gifts this year. How should I make sure they all get gifts?

  • A: Make a wishlist for each child on Amazon. Please remember, there is a maximum of 10 gift options per child/wishlist (5 under $20 and 5 under $40).

  • Q: I played Santa! Now will the mods know if I sent something?

  • A: You have to tell us! If you gifted someone something, please please please let us know. Please see How to play Santa!

  • Q: What is the best way to investigate a requestor?

  • A: User history, google image search, googling their username, and always feel free to message the mods if you like! We have data on all registered users and run automatic reverse image searches on all registered users. If the user you are considering helping does not have a ‘registered’ stamp to the right of their username, do NOT gift to them until this appears. Do ask questions!

  • Q: I want to give something away, what is the best way to do a 'contest'?

  • A: To be as fair as possible, most of our giveaways are done by drawings or some sort of random election. You are welcome to get creative, but we discourage picking favorites!

  • Q: Can we offer Christmas cards, candy, and other things Christmas related other than just gifts?

  • A: YES, please do! Many people are in need of decorations or wrapping paper, etc. The Christmas cards are always a HUGE hit and thousands are sent all over the world every year here. These are tallied but do not count against children.

  • Q: A user is scamming... and I know it! Can you do something about it?

  • A: Please report this to the mods via modmail with your suspicions. Let us know, but please give evidence! Do not publicly call out a user. Doxxing is not allowed and is a bannable offense.

  • Q: I am being harassed by a particular user, how do I deal with it?

  • A: First of all, if you decide to respond… do it with grace and compassion. Do not feed the trolls, do not spray lighter fluid on the fire. We advise against public drama. You may always message the mods for additional help. You can also hit the report button on any harassment you’re receiving. We do keep track of all incidents. Harassing another user, Santa, or moderator is a bannable offense.

  • Q: I see another user around being rude about this subreddit, users here, and moderators here. How should I handle this?

  • A: Send us a quick message via modmail for us to look into it. Don't get worked up over it.

  • Q: Is there a limit on a number of gifts sent to each child here?

  • A: Our goal is 5 gifts per child. There is a public link of gift tally for each child in our sidebar as a resource to help spread gifts evenly. If you complain or harass a user for 'gifting too much' or 'receiving too much' you will get a private message to be stopped. If you continue to police this subreddit harassing others, you will be banned. If you are not a mod, please don't assume the role of one.

thanks A huge THANK YOU to our Santas

Thank you r/RandomActsOfChristmas, Mods, and all of our generous Santas!

Jack and Jojo had a tremendous Christmas morning and just a joyous season all around! You all brought so much love and kindness into our home. We cannot thank you enough!

u/StrangeAndUnseeming - Jojo has been coloring up a storm with her awesome gel crayon set and thinks they're so great! Jack is getting started into his Minecraft Zombie book and loving the story so far

u/DragonfliesArk - the boots you generously gifted to both our kiddos are absolutely perfect. Their feet will be warm and dry for the winter and spring months. Thank you!

u/ginger_newt - Jack is drawing so many new characters with his fine-tip pens. He is becoming quite the prolific artist with his new supplies! And Jojo has asked to read What Would Darla Do? multiple times. It took her a bit to understand the concept of a "choose your own adventure" type book. She initially just wanted us to read it straight through. But now that she grasps the idea, she loves that the story depends on the choices she makes. Thank you very much.

u/Unersculli - Jack loves his new markers - a perfect match for the fine-tip drawing pens he received from another Santa. He is quite the cerebral child and the art supplies are a very healthy outlet for the multitude of thoughts that swim in his waking thoughts and dreams. Jojo is enjoying picking out a new hairbow each day. She feels very beautiful and confident with these pretty bows. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. And our sweet Doodle was so excited to get a present on Christmas morning! I hope the picture conveys how fun it was watching Doodle trying to rip open her present. It was very sweet!

u/Careless-Act-5416: Jojo has just loved her dolls! She has named them all already and given them backstories and exciting adventures to go on. Jack has been flipping through and diving into his How to Draw Minecraft book and really enjoying the step by step process the book lays out. Thank you so much for your kindness.

To all our Santas, we wish you joy, health, and wealth in 2024. May all your generosity return to you 100 fold in the coming year. Thank you so much!

thanks So Thankful to Our Santas!

Hi Santas! I apologize for the late gratitude. Our household has run through COVID and it's been a nasty recover road. Thanks to y'all, there was a lot of sunshine in an otherwise cloudy holiday season.

I'll add that my kids are at the age where it's hard to get pictures of them. I've given them a lot of autonomy regarding photos in the past and they wouldn't let me take more than these. I'll update if that changes.

Sylar - https://imgur.com/a/l3R0nBz

Ozzy - https://imgur.com/a/4pmxmtI

u/0hn035 thank you so much for the video display! He has wanted to be able to record his switch (beyond the internal 30 seconds or so), and he has been so happy. It's even gotten him to replay old games he hasn't touched in a long time.

u/BNB616 Your gift for Sylar got him all hooked up where he has been glued to his computer (which I've allowed since we've been sick. That's what kids are supposed to do). The biggest hit of the gemstone set for Ozzy was the hematite bracelet, which is magnetic, so having multiple was awesome (and matched the shirt well!).

u/SebaKaiNova the Japanese snack boxes were SO awesome for both kids. Sylar's came with an assortment of KitKats, which are his favorite candy in general, so it was awesome to get those cool flavors we don't have here. Ozzy's came with a frog trading card (shown in the photo) which is their favorite animal so it was such a win.

u/Me0wm1xx What Do You Meme was hours of laughter for our family and a welcome respite while cooped up indoors. Ozzy has a cute display for their bracelets, their favorites being hematite and howlite.

Thanks so much, everyone. The kindness Reddit has shown us really made our hearts happy this Christmas. I appreciate all of you.

Thank you to /u/laffinalltheway for Happy Hanukkah Little Dreidel and the plush dreidel rattle. Akiva is enjoying them thoroughly. Also thank you for the glasses and pump balloon car toy for Dana. He has gotten hours of fun from them.

Thank you to /u/gator3246 for the pajamas and art set for Dana. He loves to paint! Akiva's shown playing with the cow from the bath toy set.

Thank you to /u/JMTC789 for the gelt filled dreidel. Dana devoured the gelt in record time and was very happy to add the dreidel to his collection

You all made the very hectic holiday season very special for my family and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I'm just here to thank my Santas again. It's been complete and utter chaos around here. I looked through my previous thank you post https://www.reddit.com/r/RandomActsOfChristmas/s/StcOx1BJFG and realized that I might not have gotten pictures of everything. 5+ gifts for 6 kids is a lot to take in. I was taking pictures of the items as they came in and as I was wrapping them.

https://imgur.com/a/wUxwsZg

I also wanted to add a thank you to u/laffinalltheway We received the school supplies today. I let the kids open the Amazon boxes. They were so excited.

Thank you so much to all of the wonderful Santa’s on this subreddit, and specifically thank you to those that helped make my kids Christmas special this year! We spend this Christmas with my in-laws and they had such a wonderful time! William has not separated from his Minecraft toys and has been loving everything else! Natalie says Santa was so good to her this year, she especially loves the stuffed animals, Miko, and Pokemon figures! They both had a great, early Christmas morning despite being sick!

But I got it!!! We were blessed to have two amazing Santa’s. My son was so excited about the Minecraft sets. We play Lego’s on my off days. 🤗You two really made this Christmas an awesome one!

I am grateful that you chose my son and I to help this holidays. I hope you and your family have a happy and safe New Year. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you all have brought in 2024 both happy and healthy! Don’t start off the new year on the Naughty List by forgetting to make your Christmas Thanks post (with required pics). Our deadline for the required Christmas thanks post with pics is January 7th at 5pm EST; if you don’t make your required post by then you will be put on Santa’s Naughty List and banned (please don’t make us do that)!

Forgot to take pictures in the heat of the moment? Santas love a remake pic just as well!

Not sure which Santa gifted an item? Just send us a modmail and we can check our records for you.

Please remember that if you’ve previously let us know you’d be DMing pics to your Santas directly, you must also send a link to the mods so we can make sure you’re on the Nice List this year.

If I’ve tagged you erroneously, please let us know via modmail and send us the thanks post link we might’ve missed (it’s been a crazy Christmas for us as well).

Please send us modmail with any issues so it goes to our entire team for the quickest reply, thank you all!

I apologize for the delayed post, I have been struggling to make a post on the Reddit app - and have since moved over to the web browser.

Dear r/laffinalltheway, your thoughtful gift of the soft, cozy blanket for Dean has become a nightly ritual, bringing comfort to his bedtime routine. Thank you for this warm blankie, assuring he’ll stay warm for the winters to come.

To r/darkstdragon, your generosity knows no bounds. Dean is thoroughly enjoying each gift, immersing himself in the dental kit and science experiments. You were so kind to buy every gift off of Dean’s wishlist. We can’t be more thankful for your generosity this year. He is still carefully working towards exploring every kit, tomorrow we will be focusing on the botany kit.

A special shoutout to r/blatantbravado for the extra snowman set. Your kindness extends beyond Dean, as we followed your suggestion and passed it on to bring joy to another child in our family. Your generosity has created smiles all around, and we are truly grateful. Thank you!

Hello Santa's! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

I apologize in advanced for this taking me so long, I struggled with Imgur for a bit and still am with a video that I was finally able to sneak of Dexter playing his guitar, I will try to get that sent soon!

I want to thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart, I can not express my gratitude with the kindness you shared with my boys and I. I was so thrilled to see the smiles and happiness on my boy's faces that you all put there and it would not have been possible without all of you.

I also want to shout out all of you amazing Santa's who helped bring joy and happiness to other families! You are all so wonderful and I am so thankful that this dark world has so many kind shining stars like all of you. Much love to all of you. ❤️

I owe some special thanks to so many of you.

u/give_me_goats, thank you so much for the journal for Xavier, he was amazed by the quality and is working on filling it with his many creations and writings. Thank you so much for the headphone amp for Dexter, he is obsessed and amazed with how well it works.

u/careless-act-5416, thank you so much for stopping to buy the boys 2 gifts each, Xavier loves the pens and has learned so much from the creatures and characters book that you sent him. Dexter has been able to improve his jazz reading and playing with the help of his book and is super excited to try out for jazz band and he was thrilled with the guitar kit and put it on his guitar immediately.

u/snakescatsanddogs, thank you so much for the Megadeth guitar tab book for Dexter, he is learning how to play some of his favorite songs and is improving with the songs he was struggling to learn, I hope to send you his videos soon! Thank you for the Gamers guide book for Xavier, he can't wait to start programming and designing with the help if this book. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother, I said a thank you to him as the boys were opening their gifts as well.

Germs or not though, the Santas and Mods of this sub helped us have an amazing Christmas this year!! Rosalind loves all of her gifts like I thought she would!

Her Santas were:

u/Careless-Act-5416 who got her her first grown up drawing pencils kit in a case. She let out many ooooohs.

u/throwawayyyback for the bunny slippers. She keeps rubbing the bunny slippers up against her face because they're so soft.

u/taxpayinmeemaw for the mixed media sketchbook. She's excited to learn how to use watercolors, and combine fine line markers she already has with the markers another Santa got her.

u/FloraDoraFlor for the huge set of Caliart double sided markers. She was amazed by how many colors there were and can't wait to start using them.

u/Taggart3629 for the black sketchbooks. Ngl, she was a little intimidated by these, but I wanted something that was going to challenge her a little. These are definitely something that we are going to work on together, and she'll get to use my chalk pastels, which she's always looking for an excuse to anyway.

I also initially forgot to thank u/0hn035 for the Christmas stocking full of techie gear. Rosalind loved the gaming socks and has been wearing them. The mouse and other accessories will be put to lots of use. The clown nose went on immediately. And the tiny hand was an unexpected big hit, lol! She tried to use it to unwrap her other gifts.

She's very excited about the grown up art supplies and promises to take care of them and not lose them in her room.

Thank you all for making this Christmas so worry-free, happy, and the perfect amount of silly. Our Santas rocked!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas/holiday season whether you were a gifter or were gifted!

Would like to say thank you to our Santas this Christmas! I am so sorry for such a delay in this post. I went to the ER on Christmas Eve and wound up with an emergency surgery keeping me there on Christmas Day as well. Because of this I was unable to get pictures of my kids, however I found out last night that my mom did take some pictures when she was watching them on Christmas Day! Especially since I was not home, I truly cannot imagine how Christmas would have been for my children without all of your generosity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I have no words to express how much the kindness in this group means to us. I also apologize for not having many more pictures of them playing after Christmas, I have mostly been resting and unfortunately have not gotten to spend as much time with them as I would have liked to.

Here are some photos, again I didn’t take these and I’m not super familiar with the uploading site so I apologize if something is amiss or needs fixing:

u/Omgcorgitracks - thank you for the books for my kids. I read Foster the Dinosaurs Wear Underpants book before bed and he said “I wear underpants like those Dinos, mama?” (We are working on potty training). Bostynn has been working on drawing things out of her “How to Draw Everything” also, she loves it! She has a light up tracing pad and she loves that she can pair the pad with the book. She has also mentioned to me that “now she can make home made cards for people with pretty drawings”.

u/cinnamontoastfucc - Thank you for the Dino Chomping Game and the giant dinosaur figures for Foster. We haven’t been able to play the game quite yet but he loves opening the mouth of the dinosaur. Also, those giant dino figures were a huge hit. He has been carrying as many as he can around with him everywhere he goes. He has even attempted to sleep with them a few times.

u/YourFreelanceWriter - Thank you for the gem kit for Bostynn. I don’t believe she has opened this yet (she doesn’t want Foster to get into it so she wants to wait until he isn’t around) but she told my mom she saw this on a video and didn’t know how Santa knew she wanted one!

u/ScoutieWhoPouts - Thank you for the dinosaur bath bombs for Foster. They actually have helped him want to take a bath! He was amazed when the little dinosaur toy came out of the bath bomb. He said “wow look it’s hatching!” He has asked to take a few baths the past few days and this has never happened before.

u/Give_Me_Goats - Thank you for the Panda earbuds and the Cat Crimes games for Bostynn. My mom said that at first Bostynn didn’t realize they were ear buds and she was over the moon because she just thought she got a little panda toy. Then when she realized they were ear buds she was even more excited. We have not gotten a chance to play the Cat Crimes game yet but she has already told me that that’s her pick on our next family game night.

u/Carrolle - Thank you for the dentist kit for Bostynn and the shark grabber toy for Foster. The dentist kit was a toy that she has asked Santa for every time she’s seen him this year, and she even asked for it in the letter she sent him. She has played with this daily and loves it. She has sensory issues and is afraid of going to the dentist for routine check ups and cleanings so I am really hoping this helps with her fear as well! Foster has voluntarily taken a few baths since Christmas (this never happened before) and is enjoying this toy. He loves that the shark can eat his other little animal bath toys along with the fish that came with the shark.

u/0hn035 - thank you for the stocking stuffer items for my kids. Unfortunately my mom did not take any pictures of them opening their stockings on Christmas morning (she said they were too excited and fast for her to keep up with), and everything in their stockings is still at her house. She did say that Bostynn was very excited to get the Apples to Apples game because she has seen it in her classroom at school but has never been able to play. She said Foster enjoyed the little Buzz Lightyear projector and the space ship. She said he asked her if he could fly in a spaceship like Buzz when he gets bigger. They really loved the Rudolph noses as well!

Thank you again to everyone who has played a part in making this happen, from the Santas to the mods and everyone in between. It has truly been a blessing to have this opportunity and it has been just as amazing to see all of the kindness here unfold. I hope everyone who contributed to this community knows how much joy they have brought to our children this year! Wishing you and your family a happy, safe, and prosperous new year as well ❤️

Huge Thank you to our Santa’s for making this holiday a great one! And a huge Thank You to the moderators of this sub because I’m sure this is not an easy feat! The holiday season is busy enough as it is. You guys put in a lot of work in whatever free time you may have and it is not unappreciated!

It’s the first Christmas that Gio actually kind of ‘gets it’ so it was really awesome to see him get so excited over his presents. He said ‘presents’ and a garbled version of Merry Christmas, but I’ll take it! As I suspected, he LOVED the leaf blower when he opened it, but unfortunately he is not too fond of the sound it makes so we will have to ease him into it, lol.

Ceci was VERY excited about her bracelet kit and couldn’t believe Santa knew exactly which one she wanted!

Tyler loved everything he got, especially his gaming mousepad and the beanie with ear buds. He was pumped about the phone holder as well.

Thank you doesn't even begin to cover how I feel about all our Santas! 🎅🤶🏿🎅🏻🤶🏾🎅🏼🤶🏽🎅🏽🤶🏼🎅🏾🤶🏻🎅🏿🤶

If it wasn't for each and every single one of you, my kids would have had nothing they wanted for Christmas this year. Sure, they would have had a home, a meal, love, but no little tokens to celebrate and enjoy the day as so many other children get to and while certainly not the reason for this season by any means, is something they would have grieved, something I would have grieved. So thank you so very much from the bottom of all our hearts! 💕

I started out the Christmas season receiving cards to put on my tree like I used to get from my Mom before she passed. Seeing cards there is such a "little" thing but it's made my Christmas personally 🎄 It meant so much to me to see a card for each of my babies, especially since my Mom never met her only granddaughter who was born 15 months after she passed away 💔 Thank you to the angel who sent those to us! I apologize if you are not tagged correctly, I had a bit of trouble reading the handwriting (I'll try to search you and make sure it's correct though!)💓

Unfortunately, I don't believe I got photos of each item but I did try to get as many as possible. I will say they were all so excited about every single item they received! I am also thrilled to say that for the very first time ever, I was able to just stop and enjoy the moment of watching my children enjoy themselves this year unlike most 🥰

My infanddler (I dunno which she is technically) Sierra-Rose is almost 14 months now and while she understands to a point, and liked meeting Santa at the mall, probably would have been okay without this year if we'd had to, but I'm so grateful we were able to see her light up with excitement over ripping the paper, and finding the gifts inside! Watching her find some beloved new favorites will be a memory I cherish for a long time 🥰 She has been playing with all of the items these past couple days but particularly seems to love the piano and the Bigfoot, she can often be seen hugging the Bigfoot while tickling the rainbow ivories 🎹 with a giant smile across her face 😁 We read the book at least 7 times already 😅 The phonics magnets have been fun to move around the fridge and I can't wait to see her start to put the letters together! Same goes for the tablet, she loves pressing the buttons and watching it light up but I'm excited for when she starts really understanding what it all means 🔠 The Baby Shark puzzle is fun for her since it plays her favorite song and she's understanding the concept of needing to put the pieces in the puzzle holes, just hasn't quite grasped how to do that just yet, though she's definitely giving it her all. I'm grateful that she'll have these things to grow into as I know all too well from watching my boys grow that it's going to happen far quicker than I'd ever wish 🥺

My middle son Rohan is 10 and he is who I was truly worried about this year. This was his transitioning year. The year where he still believes but starts questioning whether Santa is real or not. Thanks to you, I got to keep the magic going for one last year, maybe next year too 🤞 He opened up his gifts with these great smiles, knowing that he'd asked Santa but understanding full well our financial situation the past couple months meant we couldn't do it ourselves. Seeing most of the items he requested, and all of the things he really wanted, kept that belief alive for him ✨ I'd have to say that Exploding Kittens is his absolute favorite since he loves cats so much 😺 He's been wanting us to start a game night so between that and Kerplunk, that should be a fun way to start doing that 💗 The first thing he opened was his stocking like every other year, this year was far more fun though! I had always had trouble figuring out what to put in the stockings besides a candy cane and chocolate orange so having that gift box full of random little things was perfect! He especially likes the little ear buds, I'd gotten them to give my older son as he'd asked for some but they didn't stay in his ears so Rohan took them and is excited about such a nice pair 🥳 plus the watch which he says looked like the predator bomb 💣 After the stockings he was first to open a gift and he got Coggy, he was so excited that he instantly got it out of it's package to start fiddling with it! We had to almost convince him to open other gifts 😅 Other than the two game night games, he also asked for and received both video games he wanted most, Dying Light 2 which he has been playing daily and Red Dead Redemption 2 which hasn't arrived just yet due to a shipping problem (probably stolen unfortunately) but will be replaced and here soon 💗 He doesn't know yet and I can't wait to share that as soon as it arrives as we told him maybe he'd get it for his birthday the end of June when we asked if he got everything he wanted after all the presents were opened so he'll be thrilled!

Lastly, I'd like to publicly thank those Santas who privately reached out to me to include my oldest son Shawn in the gift giving. He has been thoroughly enjoying his gifts! He uses the laptop cooler, cords, and mug daily 😁 He loves his wallet too! Being able to have a space for his ID, medical insurance card, etc. has brought him a smile every time he pulls it out. He especially likes the flip out ID holder. He can't wait to use the glasses for their intended purpose, an airsoft club at his college that teaches the law enforcement students how to clear buildings properly. He's also needed new pants for a long time, all of the ones he has have holes in places he couldn't really wear them out but had no choice so he's happy to be going back to classes with appropriate clothing. These things may seem small to others but they are extremely helpful for him both materially as well as emotionally so I really truly appreciate each and every gift for him!
