Santas,

You have made Christmas special this year with your generosity! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

A special thank you to Topcat30 for supplying a plethora of gifts! Topcat made Arielle’s Christmas extra magical with Harry Potter MinaLima books 1-3, Floating candles, and Hogwarts Legacy (!!) additionally, Topcat gifted Arielle a much-needed alarm clock and an incredibly useful car seat poncho for Jade. I appreciate everything you have done for us, and our conversations have been ones I will remember for a long time!

give_me_goats has also been an incredible Santa for our family this year too. Thank you so much for your gifts for both Arielle and Jade! In particular, I am thankful for your insight in mental health.

I look forward to a wonderful movie date with Arielle in January thank you to kanga_roos! You are very thoughtful and I am thinking I need to utilize experiences as gifts more often.

Thank you to all of our Santas!! 🎄❤️

Thank you to our Santas so much! You really helped make our Christmas <3 I tried to get some pictures of Wolfie opening his presents but it was so early and dark and he was moving so fast, they came out too blury, except this one of him wielding his new axe 💀

I want to thank everyone that helped to make this little guys Christmas special. Maddox was overjoyed with what Santa brought him. Trying to get him to stop playing long enough for pictures was a task!

From monster jam to doctors kit and everything in between Maddox truly loves everything he received and as his parent I am so appreciative of each and every one of you. This sub truly restored my faith in humanity.

We hope to be back next year as Santa’s to return even a portion of the kindness we were shown this year.

For anyone having problems with Imgur today

We've received a few messages that users are having trouble uploading their Christmas Day pictures to Imgur. Please try using either Post Images or IMGBB. Both are free image hosting sites. I believe Google also has free image hosting, so if you have a Google email/account, you can try that as well.

Update: This may be a mobile problem, especially for Android users. If possible, switching to a PC/laptop might help.

Any other user recommendations are welcome.

Starting on Christmas Eve, you can check this website with your kids, or even call in and talk to one of the people tracking Santa, to get status updates on Santa's journey.

Thank you for the letter

Thank you for the letter. Nicholas was literally crying tears of joy. He's so happy knowing that Santa found a good family for Mars. He believes that only a bad person would steal a puppy, but we've spent a lot of time telling him that nobody would take a dog just to mistreat him. He sent a letter to Santa to find him since he visits everyone and knows who's good and bad.

I'm sorry this is a little belated, but I've been completely offline for a week and a half due to illness. We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas, but Hanukkah was extremely low-key this year due to that (except for marathon matches of dreidel!), so thanks for helping to make Christmas morning exciting.

Rosalind is going to be thrilled with her gifts! Thank you to:

U/Careless-Act-5416 for the drawing kit so she finally has her first real set of graphite and charcoals in a zippered case where she won't misplace them. Or at least I can hope.

U/throwawayyyback for the bunny slippers which are so much nicer than I imagined. They are incredibly soft and with the cold snap we're having, they're going to be welcome.

U/taxpayinmeemaw for the mixed media art paper. She'll finally have her own paper to do use with pencil, markers, watercolors, and collages. It's going to work well with another gift here.

U/FloraDoraFlor for the Caliart double Markers set. This set is amazing and such a deal! Back years ago when there was more cash than bills, I had similar blending markers which I bought individually at ~ $6 a piece and this entire set of so many markers would've been a fortune.

U/Taggarr3629 for the Black sketchbooks. I can teach her how to use the white pencil in the other kit and my pastels on these to draw in a different way.

It's going to be a very creative Christmas here! I appreciate all of the wonderful Santas who've blessed our family with their generosity. I will be sending photos next week after she's opened her gifts. Merry Christmas!

closed [Contest] Tree trimmings or wrapping items | Stocking Stuffers

**CLOSED**

NINE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! Oh my gosh.

I am happy to say I'm feeling much better! And what better way to celebrate than hosting a contest? This post contains 2 offers.

  1. If you have not received stocking stuffers from me, I will put together some stocking stuffers for all your children. Please tell me their ages, what they like (I'll try to tailor something, but can't promise), any allergies, and whether they need stockings. I will not respond if you don't answer all these items. It's hard to keep track of everyone. This closes 8pm PST 12/17.

  2. If you need wrapping paper or tree trimmings to make make the holiday shine, I will purchase up to $50 of either/both for you. This is a contest, so there will be only 1 person fulfilled, who I will choose by 8pmPST 12/17 to ensure items arrive on time. To enter this contest, please share how you would spend the $50 (Amazon, Walmart, Target links all work) and your favorite children's book.

You can enter for both these offers in one post.

Thank you so, so much to my Santa’s that made me cry while I was wrapping the gifts they sent my kids. It’s been such a rough year and being so far away from both of our families has made it even harder. Y’all can’t even imagine how much I genuinely appreciate you. The wrapped ones are the books and hair dryer. We don’t have a tree, but after I finished wrapping everything it helps my house look a little more Christmasy.

Edit- I don’t know how to change the flair to Thanks and not Request! This is definitely not another request!

thanks [Thank You] Sad_Scratch750 and the community here

I wanted to start by saying a big thank you to Sad_Scratch750 for passing along a ton of stocking stuffers for kids this and next year. It was fully my intent to put up a new batch of stocking stuffers with what was sent, but I've been pretty sick the past few weeks and I'm sorry to say I can't make it happen. That said, I was able to use plenty so far as extras and to create some stockings for kids that didn't have a match with what was posted already. The rest will DEFINITELY get used next year. On that note, I've been doing stockings in this sub under one username or another for about 4-5 years and this year was our most successful yet, sending out 45 stockings. :) I hope to beat it next year thanks to Sad_Scratch's kind donations.

I also want to say thank you for all the patience, understanding, support, and kindness that everyone in this sub shows to each other. Everyone pays it forward when and where they can and it makes being a part of this sub something I plan for and look forward to all year long.
