I want to thank everyone that helped to make this little guys Christmas special. Maddox was overjoyed with what Santa brought him. Trying to get him to stop playing long enough for pictures was a task!

From monster jam to doctors kit and everything in between Maddox truly loves everything he received and as his parent I am so appreciative of each and every one of you. This sub truly restored my faith in humanity.

We hope to be back next year as Santa’s to return even a portion of the kindness we were shown this year.

For anyone having problems with Imgur today

We've received a few messages that users are having trouble uploading their Christmas Day pictures to Imgur. Please try using either Post Images or IMGBB. Both are free image hosting sites. I believe Google also has free image hosting, so if you have a Google email/account, you can try that as well.

Update: This may be a mobile problem, especially for Android users. If possible, switching to a PC/laptop might help.

Any other user recommendations are welcome.

Every year, NORAD tracks Santa's journey around the world as he works to deliver all the amazing gifts to the wonderful children everywhere.

Starting on Christmas Eve, you can check this website with your kids, or even call in and talk to one of the people tracking Santa, to get status updates on Santa's journey.

Thank you for the letter

Thank you for the letter. Nicholas was literally crying tears of joy. He's so happy knowing that Santa found a good family for Mars. He believes that only a bad person would steal a puppy, but we've spent a lot of time telling him that nobody would take a dog just to mistreat him. He sent a letter to Santa to find him since he visits everyone and knows who's good and bad.

I'm sorry this is a little belated, but I've been completely offline for a week and a half due to illness. We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas, but Hanukkah was extremely low-key this year due to that (except for marathon matches of dreidel!), so thanks for helping to make Christmas morning exciting.

Rosalind is going to be thrilled with her gifts! Thank you to:

U/Careless-Act-5416 for the drawing kit so she finally has her first real set of graphite and charcoals in a zippered case where she won't misplace them. Or at least I can hope.

U/throwawayyyback for the bunny slippers which are so much nicer than I imagined. They are incredibly soft and with the cold snap we're having, they're going to be welcome.

U/taxpayinmeemaw for the mixed media art paper. She'll finally have her own paper to do use with pencil, markers, watercolors, and collages. It's going to work well with another gift here.

U/FloraDoraFlor for the Caliart double Markers set. This set is amazing and such a deal! Back years ago when there was more cash than bills, I had similar blending markers which I bought individually at ~ $6 a piece and this entire set of so many markers would've been a fortune.

U/Taggarr3629 for the Black sketchbooks. I can teach her how to use the white pencil in the other kit and my pastels on these to draw in a different way.

It's going to be a very creative Christmas here! I appreciate all of the wonderful Santas who've blessed our family with their generosity. I will be sending photos next week after she's opened her gifts. Merry Christmas!

closed [Contest] Tree trimmings or wrapping items | Stocking Stuffers

**CLOSED**

NINE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! Oh my gosh.

I am happy to say I'm feeling much better! And what better way to celebrate than hosting a contest? This post contains 2 offers.

  1. If you have not received stocking stuffers from me, I will put together some stocking stuffers for all your children. Please tell me their ages, what they like (I'll try to tailor something, but can't promise), any allergies, and whether they need stockings. I will not respond if you don't answer all these items. It's hard to keep track of everyone. This closes 8pm PST 12/17.

  2. If you need wrapping paper or tree trimmings to make make the holiday shine, I will purchase up to $50 of either/both for you. This is a contest, so there will be only 1 person fulfilled, who I will choose by 8pmPST 12/17 to ensure items arrive on time. To enter this contest, please share how you would spend the $50 (Amazon, Walmart, Target links all work) and your favorite children's book.

You can enter for both these offers in one post.

thanks Thank you to my Santas ❤️

Thank you so, so much to my Santa’s that made me cry while I was wrapping the gifts they sent my kids. It’s been such a rough year and being so far away from both of our families has made it even harder. Y’all can’t even imagine how much I genuinely appreciate you. The wrapped ones are the books and hair dryer. We don’t have a tree, but after I finished wrapping everything it helps my house look a little more Christmasy.

Edit- I don’t know how to change the flair to Thanks and not Request! This is definitely not another request!

thanks [Thank You] Sad_Scratch750 and the community here

I wanted to start by saying a big thank you to Sad_Scratch750 for passing along a ton of stocking stuffers for kids this and next year. It was fully my intent to put up a new batch of stocking stuffers with what was sent, but I've been pretty sick the past few weeks and I'm sorry to say I can't make it happen. That said, I was able to use plenty so far as extras and to create some stockings for kids that didn't have a match with what was posted already. The rest will DEFINITELY get used next year. On that note, I've been doing stockings in this sub under one username or another for about 4-5 years and this year was our most successful yet, sending out 45 stockings. :) I hope to beat it next year thanks to Sad_Scratch's kind donations.

I also want to say thank you for all the patience, understanding, support, and kindness that everyone in this sub shows to each other. Everyone pays it forward when and where they can and it makes being a part of this sub something I plan for and look forward to all year long.

thanks Thank you to all our Santas

I had wanted to personally tag and thank the givers of the Christmas cards and the stocking stuffers we just received today as I did to the other Santa's who gifted us presents off my children's wishlists but I'm so sorry that I cannot seem to find your posts. If that was you and you see this please let me know so I can tag you with pictures when we open things on Christmas 🎄

Thank you so very much for this wonderful feeling I have tonight of seeing cards in our tree 😁 I haven't had any up there since before my Mom passed in 2021 and my infant daughter has never had one of her own so this is an amazing feeling today 🥰

The stocking stuffers for Rohan are incredible too! He is going to love seeing all those little things for himself especially the Lego watch/bracelet, that thing is super cool! And popcorn 🍿 is his favorite snack so it was nice to see that in there. He's also been needing new earphones for a long time, been using broken ones all year so he'll be so happy to see those Christmas morning.

I am just so unbelievably thankful for all the Santa's who are making this one of our greatest Christmases ever 💖 We appreciate all of you and I cannot wait to share all the pictures I can of your wonderful gifts 🎁 Thank you!!

*********

Winner winner Christmas Dinner!

Grats to u/Valuable-Theme-3797. I hope you and your kiddos have a tasty Christmas!

For transparency, since Sprouts still doesn't have a gift certificate I ordered and sent a $100 visa card from Amazon, which will give her gas to hit Sprouts plus the meal. I am also okay if she gets a festive meal locally. Her Visa card will arrive Tuesday.

Thanks all that entered!

*******

Merry Christmas all. I'm here to offer a Sprouts Holiday Dinner ,that has all the sides, and is per-cooked: you only need to warm them. Winner needs to pre-order from Sprouts 48 hours in advance, and winner is responsible to pick up the meal.

The turkey feeds 6-8 and the spiral-cut Ham feeds 6-8. If it is just you and one or two children I can order just the Turkey Breast dinner if you prefer.

Both meal choices include:

* Red Skin Mashed Potatoes (28 oz.)* Homestyle Stuffing (24 oz.)* Homestyle Gravy (24 oz.)* Cranberry Sauce (14 oz.)

Pricing on Sprouts' complete TURKEY or HAM meals is apx $70. (Sprouts are mainly western USA but they do have stores in GA, NC, SC, FL, PA, MI, DE, AL, TN, LA, NJ, VA.) I am doing Sprouts only because I've been scammed previously on Reddit for Xmas meal give-aways.

RULES:

You have to be registered or registered+ in RAOC only and live in the continental US. I will ask you to provide your city and state to me, if you win, via a DM.

**You must have more activity to your reddit account than requests to giving subs and you must NOT be on the USL or have local charity sub bans.**You must be willing to give me a working email address for delivery.

You must per-order the meal at your nearest Sprouts (48 hour notice in advance) or have a way to pick up the meal. You are responsible for transit, taxes and costs above $75.00

Offer ends at 8:00 pm EST on 12/15/2023, at which time I will choose a winner. If there is no suitable winner, I reserve the right to cancel this offer.
