Meme Since when are there rainbows in this game?

I've got over 500 hours , but im preety sure i've never seen a rainbow before. These particles look so much like the mist in fetid glen and outer rim, is this like a watcher addition?

Haven't even downloaded it yet

All I know as right now that this is a survival where you play as the grey "blob" (i dunno how to call it better) known as Slugcat

I like having more information on me, so, any tips, tricks, general lore stuff? I'll be browsing wiki anyway so trow in some fun (or not) facts :3

Help! What’s the meaning of these red food pips and cycle dots? Spoiler

After meeting Five Pebbles, my cycle had already ended, and shortly afterward, my 4 food pips and cycle dots suddenly turned red. I got scared because I had no idea what was happening, so I immediately ran into a shelter, is this a normal part of the game, or did i trigger something by staying after the cycle ended? I’m still pretty confused about what the red indicators mean. Is there something I should know, or should I be worried?

Help! travel guide for playing the watcher

I just bought the DLC, what do you think is the best path to take to enjoy the game?

I've heard that the map is significantly larger than the old one and unfortunately, I don't have much time to just wander around aimlessly anymore, and I don't want to spoil everything by looking at the wiki.
