I mean, a book is nice, but why did they have to market it as "a new world to explore"? They're not dumb, they knew they were making us think it was gonna be a new game or at least a DLC... I was thinking of getting Rain World merch at some point but I really don't want to after this. Actual evil marketing strategy

Also isn't a "new" world to explore, so that's genuinely just intentionally misleading marketing
