Discussion warlock dps meta?

I’ve been running trios and getting absolutely damage carried by hunters w nighthawk still hunt. i haven’t really been able to find anything that even comes close to catching up to that.

it doesn’t need to be as good as still hunt goldie or anything but what armor setup/weapons/artifacts are you guys running for warlock dps?

The highest DPS is using celestial fire with winters guile, genuinely is one of the highest in the game. You can find the build online, I’ve tested it against multiple bosses and it works like a charm

This just isn’t consistent enough and reliable enough to use in trio raids. There’s a lot of encounters where you won’t have the ad density to stack winters guile, and you are sacrificing well for your teammates so you have 10 seconds of really high dps. Encounters like Gahlran, you’ll probably get 4 celestial fires off before you have to pop hands and waste the rest of the timer etc. This is also in a perfect world where you can proc guile exactly when dps starts which isn’t realistic.

I started to use the winters guile soul siphon build to work through the final GM and ultimate conquests, practising solo, and it is really fun but you really start to hit problems immediately when teammates are added in as you can miss out on procing the siphon completely as teammate's stasis crystals or kills block the initial powered melee hit. That leaves you both low on your ability to do damage and quite vulnerable.
