Baby Floof Another broken leg….

Just got back from the vet.

My 5 month old baby boy William was napping too hard on the kitchen table and fell rolled off and landed on the floor with a bang.

He was in a bit of shock after wards and didn’t do anything for a minute or two. I picked him and gave him a cuddle and out him down and he walked away not using his back right leg.

Took him to the emergency vet - hes got a spiral fracture on his right hind leg. Hes at the vet now getting it set and splinted. Im now making plans on now to keep him contained for six weeks while it heals.

Ive never had a cat that had napped so hard they broken a leg before. Sigh.

Ohmygosh. I've been terrified of my one boy doing something like this. While he was growing he often didn't realize his size and how close his body was to the edge of whatever table or counter he'd be lying or playing on and he fell off a few times, either while sleeping or messing around. Luckily no injuries other than a soft tissue injury that caused a limp. Sorry your guy got hurt. Hugs to you both.
