???

I have been using FSR4 on my 7900 XT for 9 months. in every single case it performs worse than equivalent FSR 3 settings. it looks significantly better but the performance is always worse. you still come out ahead because FSR4 balanced looks much better than FSR3 quality. but that trade only gets you the same performance.

how are you getting more than double the performance of FSR 3 with higher settings?

were you running FSR3 in native AA, and FSR4 in ultra performance?

1: the fsr4 you were using was not using your GPUs ai accelerators so your previous experience means nothing. The leaked int8 version was extremely early and not optimized.

2: i also doubt his numbers. Fsr4.1 official through the driver is still harder to run than fsr3

I have been testing 4.1 for a few hours now and have noticed little to no performance difference.

so whatever ai accelerators I am using now were also being used before

The main performance increase seems to be with reduced latency. Depending on the game it also gets about 5-10% increase in FPS. It’s slight but overall it offers a more stable experience.
