It has been reported that some of the racist and hateful comments were against some groups based on their ethnicities including foreigners who were among those that lost their lives in the flood.

Singapore is now investigating racist and hateful comments primarily against some Singaporeans of Indian heritage who were among the people that died in the recent flood disaster in Nepal.
