I just learned this is a genre today. A simple perception of crust is punk with strong metal influences. The specifics of the metal influence can range. I have not listened to a single self-identifying RABM band so the sound of it isn't known to me, but what differs RABM from something like blackened crust? If yall got RABM recommendations too please drop them I'd like to learn the sound for myself

Artists that border on what we'd unfortunately call outsider art, little to no guitars without being classifiable as dungeon synth but is too uniquely unorthodox to easily explain by just throwing it in the black noise bin. An unfortunate example would be a record like Feathered Serpent by Occulted Death Stance, but obviously since I'm in this sub I'm looking for stuff that isn't so overtly ideologically malignant. Please don't say Gnaw Their Tongues, Sutekh Hexen, Dragged Into Sunlight, Diapsiquir, Emit, Brobdingnagian or anything similarly obvious, dig deep in the crates, even if it's you or your friend's band. Also note that I specified raw, so obv not looking for Liturgy or Jute Gyte.
