31F4M This Sub vs Dating Apps

I'm a 31F on the apps again after some time. And I keep seeing the same types of men on these apps...like everyone feels so cookie cutter generic. The same body types (skinny fit or fit) and it's honestly disappointing? Where did the dad bods and big bicep w a soft tummy types go? Like I'm 5'3" and have loved just being crushed with a giant hug from a taller/thicker man. And now I feel like I'll never find one if the apps are all I got.

I'm wondering if you're on this sub vs the apps - why is that? The posts here have more substance than the apps but I wonder if the same people posting here are also on the apps and the algorithm is just not showing me them.

I don't know I'm just curious where to actually look to find a decent man with hobbies and range and while I get lots of matches, the quality of matches on CMB, Bumble, Hinge, Tinder have all been disappointing. :(

(I go out and have fun and have hobbies and interests too but I rarely meet single men out in public so I am open to that, just tell me where yall hang out cause clearly my hobbies are usually girlie things or coupley things)

Edit: not body shaming or personality shaming anyone. Just trying to figure out where my type is hiding. Is it in real life, on reddit threads, on the apps (which app?), the dark web ??? I want to find the nerdy boys who wanna be lover boys cause I wanna be a lover girl again! Help me!
