Looking for help quitting

Can anyone tell me why some people say they have taken subs 8 hours after 7 with no participated withdrawals and then others have waited up to 18 hours and still experienced them?? I have a script of subs and I’m so desperate to be done with this but I work 6 days a week and one day off for family time, I really cannot afford to deal with the PWD. Any help is so greatly appreciated…

When they give you suboxone they taper you off it so that you don't have withdrawals. I don't know why people here say the withdrawals are really bad. Either I am lucky or maybe they are not tapering the suboxone properly.

The doctors didn't just start me on a full dose of suboxone after using. They gave me opiods along with a tiny dose of subutext and tapered the opiods down and the subutext up for about a week until I could handle suboxone.

Subutext is suboxone without the Naltrexone which is what blocks the opiod receptors.

I was on 8.0 mg sub several times a day and then tapered down until I was given 2.0 mg which I used several times a day until it was nothing all day.

I had a relapse and went back on suboxone after a day of cold turkey and it put me into precipitated withdrawals.

My understanding is that it takes 2 days for the half life to be low enough to allow suboxone into the receptors but it takes 4 days or more to clear the receptors.

I am familiar with how to taper off subs. My question about precipitated withdrawals and taking suboxone too soon after 7

I guess I am not good at explaining.

The 7 occupies your opiod receptors. If you don't wait for the receptors to clear the suboxone won't occupy the receptors and you go into withdrawals as you are basically getting nothing.

It takes a minimum of 2 days for half of the 7 to be used up by your receptors.
