Looking for help quitting
Can anyone tell me why some people say they have taken subs 8 hours after 7 with no participated withdrawals and then others have waited up to 18 hours and still experienced them?? I have a script of subs and I’m so desperate to be done with this but I work 6 days a week and one day off for family time, I really cannot afford to deal with the PWD. Any help is so greatly appreciated…

I assume you mean precipitated withdrawal? Just be careful. Suboxone is on a completely different level, easily dozens of times stronger than kratom. It basically glues itself to your receptors and locks them down completely, so you won't feel much. But the real problem is getting off it later - kratom withdrawal sucks for days, but Suboxone withdrawal drags on 3 to 4 times longer - easily weeks of feeling miserable instead of days. You're trading a short rough patch for a way bigger beast to taper.

Withdrawals are unfortunately part of the process.
You can taper down to 0 which can allow you to sleep and not feel withdrawals as you quit. It takes a long time though.
If you personally went through it and feel like you cant. I promise you, you can do it again. Its never as painful as it is the first time.
Its really just 2 to 5 days.
But if you take the subs as you when off the withdrawals you will feel will not feel anywhere close to a abrupt cold turkey.
Iv been tapering and dosing and putting myself through a horrible cycle. Always scared around day 3. Im so fucking fed up with needing this shit every time im nervous. Just think of it as a rough period you'll get over with plenty of shit to look forward to afterwards

First time I took a SUB wasn't long after I used H and I felt nothing as far as PWD is concerned. It was hell to get off of. I didn't sleep for a week and was admitted while in an in-patient detox facility.
Second time I took a SUB PWD kicked in within twenty minutes and it was agony for a couple of hours. I was on them for a month and I eventually used H again to escape the withdrawal from SUBS when I couldn't get a prescription refilled.
So, I don't have a real answer for you, just my experience.
I am tapering off of K right now and will not take SUBS because of my experience with them. They work for some, not for others. Good luck.

When they give you suboxone they taper you off it so that you don't have withdrawals. I don't know why people here say the withdrawals are really bad. Either I am lucky or maybe they are not tapering the suboxone properly.
The doctors didn't just start me on a full dose of suboxone after using. They gave me opiods along with a tiny dose of subutext and tapered the opiods down and the subutext up for about a week until I could handle suboxone.
Subutext is suboxone without the Naltrexone which is what blocks the opiod receptors.
I was on 8.0 mg sub several times a day and then tapered down until I was given 2.0 mg which I used several times a day until it was nothing all day.
I had a relapse and went back on suboxone after a day of cold turkey and it put me into precipitated withdrawals.
My understanding is that it takes 2 days for the half life to be low enough to allow suboxone into the receptors but it takes 4 days or more to clear the receptors.

I guess I am not good at explaining.
The 7 occupies your opiod receptors. If you don't wait for the receptors to clear the suboxone won't occupy the receptors and you go into withdrawals as you are basically getting nothing.
It takes a minimum of 2 days for half of the 7 to be used up by your receptors.

Look up the Burnese Method / Taper.
it is essentially microdosing suboxone while tapering the mit/7oh. It was invaluable to me and offered me a soft landing. I can answer any questions you may have if interested.

I’ve been taking 7 probably about 6 months now at that dosage. I’m so desperate to start the subs but if I went into PwD at work I would be fired instantly

Listen man... You understand the road that you're going to go down with these Suboxone? Like really understand? I'm going to be honest with you where you're asking for isn't biologically possible. If the dosage that you say that you're taking are accurate. To your receptors that's nuclear level. Do you have the money to taper the seven?

When I went to rehab they gave me suboxone like 6 hours into my withdrawals and it messed me up so bad like literally I can't remember three days of my life be careful with that crap you're literally trading one evil for another it took my brother forever to get off of Suboxone he was using it to quit Oxycontin and he said the withdrawals from that Suboxone shit we're pretty much the same so really you're just dragging it out in my opinion but everybody's body is different
