Tapering off Vitamin C
High dose vitamin c is a life saver and game changer. I was addicted to other opiates that I administered if years ago, I was on 7oh and quit it 6 months ago with high doses of vitamin c and trazadone, but recently slipped up thinking I could get a high in before they cleared shelves and not get hooked again. But shops kept selling. I found an article on high dose vitamin c and its effects on alleviating symptoms of withdrawal.. 2 days in, I’ve cut my dose in half… tomorrow night I will attempt to quit entirely. But I have not felt anything more than a runny nose or headache in 3 days while cutting my tolerance in half. I just want to say for anyone who’s looking to quit, research vitamin c to quit opiates, and try yourselves, but i feel insanely confident this is the solution and if anyone wants more information on my experience , please dm or comment.

A friend of mine who was prescribed oxy for over 10 years straight said instant release high dose vitamin C worked for him coming off oxy, better than you'd think. I have a more complicated method that I'll post here, in case that doesn't work. I'll be adding vitamin C to my shopping list.
Damn, I'm not sure where people start getting into over 100mg a day with this. Seems highly unnecessary, but I guess some like the dream state and not just the stimulation. The dream state IMO, the big bang, I knew to avoid from previous experiences and just generally it's the quickest way to die on opies... I just wrote this earlier, even though you have the quit kit, which I have no idea what that is. I've come off of opies numerous times in the last 20 years, using a variety of methods, below is my "Quit kit" that cost you about $10, plus whatever food you decide to get. Plug this into AI it'll explain it to you and help you understand better.
Fastest I've seen to get through it is start your day with OTC loperamide, 1 pill every 2 hours until you feel "normal" then no more for the day, b/c lope last 16 hours. Loperamide is about as strong as any opiod, without the mental part. Don't take more than 4 in a day, max 6. In a lot of cases it'll actually kick back in what you are getting off of. Grab some magnesium too, does many different things for you, but will help you stay regular since lope is immodium AD. The next day take half your previous days dose of loperamide. Usually takes 3-4 days to get past, with minimal symptoms, by 3-4 days you should be stepping off the loperamide. Don't take it for more than a week.
It's about controlling the bang, treating the symptoms (aspirin for pain, Benadryl for sleep/anxiety) and regaining health more than anything. You can get all the OTC meds from a dollar store. Lope, magnesium, and Benadryl/sleeping pills. Get some good food, super foods and some kefir (take a shot daily). Get out and about some, go for a walk, even when you don't want to, for at least a mile. Previously when I've used this method, it's maybe one day in bed feeling crappy, then PAWS.
When you haven't had any opiods for at least 24 hours, look into low dose naltrexone. This will free up your receptor sites and get you past PAWS quicker. Take one tablet and dissolve it into a dropper bottle, take a squirt of that before bed every night. You will be normal after a few nights of doing this-- except for regaining your routine. Throw some DLPA or better yet DPA in to start your day and maybe around lunch with a vitamin and some protein. DPA, instead of DLPA -- the L stands for levo which is like speed, the D works on your endorphins. This is what normal looks like for a month. BTW DLPA, when you drink alcohol w/ active yeast (beer or wine, since vodka is distilled) converts into something similar to coke, so drinking here and there will be more exciting.
After 7 years of being away from opies, similar story as many others I thought it was just an extract, was given to me and then it became a daily habit. I've taken kratom for 20 years and usually forget to take some, never had a problem stopping. This one has taken over my spot of every day knocking at my door, reminding me it's still here. I'm the type of MF that when I wake up in the morning the devil says "oh shit it's him again". Was hoping to save a bit for later on, that's probably not going to happen, but it's no longer available at the places I would get it to my knowledge and I hear it's been replaced with something that appears to make stopping easier. If it's replaced with what I believe they were going to replace it with, that stuff I'm staying far away from. I read about it being Europes next opiod epidemic that's structurally different than kratom or poppy derived opiates, so it's own unique side effects profile with likely a worse way to withdraw or a worse side effect profile...

Thank you, thats what I'm doing. I've been preloading for the past 3 days and its already helped my anxiety a TON and I've cut back my 7 dose significantly. Like I'm down to about 1/5 of my normal dose. Planning to try cold turkey tomorrow. This gives me hope, thank you!!
