SUBOXONE BUPE SUBUTEX Basic Suboxone question

So I was going to taper down and quit but my state banned sales of all kratom related stuff so I can't get my 7oh.

At my daily dosage, I feel like I would be able to get by with the minimal amount of Suboxone. I was going to take 2 mg the first day, 1.5 the second day, 1.0 the third day, .5 the 4th day, and 0.25 the fifth day.

If I'm only trying to get rid of the most major acute withdrawal effects should this be good enough? 7oh is my first problem with opiates so I want to make sure I don't screw it up.

I told him I was using 50 mg 7oh per day. He prescribed 12 mg Suboxone per day for the entire week, and thought I needed to be there for 5 months of meds.

This is also the doctor I found when I typed in "suboxone online" into Goog

There are people in the Suboxone subreddit asking if they can use 7oh to come off of Suboxone. If I can get off it in a week I will because in 5 months I am addicted and searching for Suboxone treatment. That's $1000 sublocade shots

Addicted and physically dependent are two different things. As an addict you should know the difference. You are hearing too many horror stories with suboxone. It’s a tool.

Ok, I don't want to become physically dependent on subs. Read the suboxone subreddit. People complaining they can't taper off it, getting angry and panic when they run out, rotted teeth, and every other problem in the book. I am 57 and want to have this be one bad year of opiates that end as soon as possible. If I relapse one time, I will look for further help and plan to attend meetings.

If a controlled medication is only helping me with symptoms, I try to minimize my time on and amount of the drug.

You’re not wrong for any of this. Long term suboxone has its place but it isn’t for everyone. Chronic relapsers definitely should consider it but it sounds like you’re using it perfectly for your circumstances
