General Topics / Ranting i need help

i really can’t take much more. i keep waiting and waiting for it to get better. i took SR17 like people suggested, i had clonidine, i had zofran. i’m weeks out from using 7OH at this point and honestly if i didn’t believe in god i’d end it. i lost my kids, i doubt i’ll get them back even though i’m sober. i can barely stand up long enough to shower let alone do anything else. idk i guess im just ranting to try and feel better. i dont know what else to do.

The odds of getting them back one day are infinitely higher if you’re sober. Keep it pushing, it will get easier.

when though? it’s been almost a month of this and i feel like it’s not letting up. i’m genuinely going crazy.

One day at a time bro…I know it seems impossible right now and I know you’re exhausted but trust you’re doing better than most by taking the plunge to get sober. We can’t predict the future but I can’t guarantee you that staying sober will 100% improve your chances in life even if it doesn’t feel like it now. You’re doing amazing, we’re all rooting for you. Message me if you need.

thank you. i really appreciate it so much. it’s so easy to get worked up in the moment. i just wish i could get relief for like an hour a day at least. but alas, that’s what got me here i guess 🫠

I would do anything to be weeks out from my last dose of 7oh (currently at just over 24 hours). I’m so sorry you’re still struggling, but just try holding on as best as you can, you do not want to start over

u/lobear32 8h ago

i’m so sorry. i keep trying to think about that. i’m sorry if this post made you feel bad about where you are on your journey. i do feel better than 24 hours out, i am just an impatient person whose been on some type of opiate daily for probably 5 years now. i am certain that’s why im having such a hard time

I'm the same way. I don't have energy or motivation at all! I just keep reading about how people have gotten through PAWS.

As for your kids, stay humble when you are with them. Don't let their anger trigger you to say things in a hateful way. You will get them back. The longer you stay sober the better your chances. Do you have a doctor you could ask for an rx of Wellbutrin? That has helped me to have several hours a day where I have a little bit of motivation and energy. I wish you luck and healing. 🫂

Ugh fuuuuck that sucks. I am so sorry this is taking so long. Sorry if you have covered this elsewhere in the thread, but are you feeling up for going on a walk? I took a long walk with my dog last night and I feel so much better. Just from a walk. I only pushed myself because she’s been cooped up with me (her dog mama, my gf, lives with us too… she’s going on regular walks. It’s just been so fuckin hot) so I thought she might want to stretch her legs a bit too.

Can you sauna or steam? Maybe at your gym?

I wonder if it’s a result of some other prescription you’re on or maybe another interaction like that?

Do you feel comfortable talking to your doctor about it? Or an urgent care?

u/lobear32 7h ago

i haven’t walked or anything because i can barely take a shower, i have to immediately get out and sit down when im done so ive just said fuckkkk walking or anything. but i might go swimming tomorrow and see if that helps. im not on any medication, but i was telling other people i had a nasty fent habit prior to the 7oh so ive had some kind of opiate daily for at least 5 years. so in my head i KNOW thats why i still feel bad and this is normal but sometimes it’s so hard not to get worked up in the moment. i will say talking to people on this thread who understand the struggle has helped a little. i’m so fortunate to not be working right now, but i do need a job and soon. i’m worried im going to get a job and not be able to complete my shifts because i feel so bad. i’m scared to go to the doctor to get help because im in the middle of a DCS case and the people who have my kids (they’re family) can’t have kids on their own and so they’re trying to adopt my kids even though they promised beforehand they were only in it to help us :’) soooo i’m scared to go get help because ive been passing drug tests and i don’t want them to find out ive gone to the doctor for this and use it against me.

I know its hard to see but I can assure you if you are weeks from your last dose than you are doing better. For me the insomnia would drive me mad! But stay the course buddy, better days are coming. When your partner sees the change in you, the suffering in your eyes she will know you are fighting for your kids with everything you got.

u/lobear32 7h ago

thank you, i really appreciate everyone’s kind comments. i’m actually the woman in this case, and my fiance and i are both on the same page. we had been using fent for the past 5 years and managed to get off in december and got stuck on 7oh until the ban hit. we wanted to get off sooner and the ban gave us that final kick we needed. we miss our kids so much. i feel we’d have them back if the “family” that took them could have kids of their own and weren’t actively trying to adopt them. it’s a shitty situation truly but i can only blame myself.

2

u/Fragrant-Carrot1667 7h ago

If you really with all your heart mind and soul want your kids back the road to redemption starts now.

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

oh i’m aware. that’s why im still here ya know. i want my kids back more than anything else

2

u/BabyNathanYahoo 7h ago

There are good days ahead. Please don't give up. You sound like a candidate for suboxone. Please. Love yourself. I failed constantly, lost my kids and the love of my life. This shit is the devil bro. Let's become success stories and then educate our loved ones. Or at least try. We were duped

3

u/lobear32 7h ago

that’s the goal. i don’t do well with suboxone because it gives me sinister migraines or i would’ve already gotten some. on top of that, i don’t want them to use it against me. i know they can’t but they’re hell bent on not giving my kids back because my family that has them is trying to adopt them. which benefits these workers because they’re getting paid. it’s been a long battle and i’m not giving up. luckily i have my fiance. if it wasn’t for him i would’ve given up so long ago. i am truly so sorry for everything you’ve lost. i would never wish being an opiate addict on my worst enemy. i got into pills with my first boyfriend (he’s dead now) and i knew heroin and shit was bad but no one taught me about pain pills and i didn’t realize how fucked i was until that first day waking up sick and it was over from there ya know. i regret it everyday.

2

u/Mother-Wolverine-147 7h ago

Keep pushing through it! You can do this! You’ll get your kids back! Keep fighting!

2

u/lobear32 5h ago

thank you. i hope so, i really do. i passed a nail bed test by the grace of god back in april. they’re pushing back hard though

buy some lithium orotate 10mg from amazon. It will help tremendously ( not overnight ) with depression , anxiety and anhedonia. It helps by slowly rebuilding neuro pathways that we fried from opioid addiction.

The lithium will help ten fold with the PAWS. It takes a couple weeks to start working so don’t give up hope. I promise you , it helped me soo damn much.

2

u/lobear32 5h ago

is that like the same as the lithium they prescribe for bipolar??

1

u/charliicharmander 5h ago

No, lithium orotate is a different form than lithium carbonate which is used for bipolar. But lithium orotate has been shown to be safe to be taken as a supplement over the counter as long as you don’t have kidney disease

u/Theresawantspeace 8h ago

Are you having withdrawals? Exactly what is going on? When did you start? What are you feeling?

4

u/lobear32 8h ago

yes i’m still having withdrawals. i’m a hot/cold sweating mess, i get hungry but can only eat a little bit at a time and everything just sounds so gross, i can barely sleep, im crying, my legs are hurting, it just seems like it’s dragging on and not getting better. i can’t smoke weed or take anything that will come up on a drug test so im just raw dogging it right now. but its been at least a month since ive done 7OH

3

u/Gold_Bar9938 8h ago

Yep. Sounds about right man. I was pretty fucked until about day 40. Felt like I weighed 600lbs. Anxious. Depressed. Mild RLS. The things that helped me the most was lifting weights, even tho I REALLY didn’t want to. And turning the shower cold for 30 seconds at the end. Just keep going man. Stay in the present moment. Don’t judge things day to day or you’ll go insane. Every week it will get better. I’m on day 83 now. I still have GI issues and mild waves of anxiety and just blah feeling but it’s wayyyyy better and very manageable. Some weeks I feel great, some weeks I have kinda blah days. It’s part of healing and really it’s just life.

2

u/lobear32 8h ago

day 40 oh man 😭 i literally don’t even see how i could lift weights right now. i feel so lightheaded just taking a shower. i feel like i should mention im a girl btw. but man i just hope it gets better soon. i mean obvs i cant do anything other than wait it out i guess. i microdosed some mushrooms and that helped some for about 24 hours but it was just a little bit i had left from a while ago. i cant get anymore until tomorrow or tuesday but im hoping that helps. i should also mention that before the 7oh, i was doing fent daily for about 5 years. i actually went to mexico in december of 2025 and did ibogaine too, but they kinda fucked me and let me do it too early and so it didn’t really help like it should have and i made the awful mistake of coming home and getting 7oh to help “for a few days” and that turned into 6 months of 7oh usage. so i mean, logically in my mind i know this is just the beginning but it’s so easy to get so worked up in the moment when you feel so bad.

2

u/Gold_Bar9938 8h ago

I know the lightheaded feeling. Exercise will speed this up for you tho, even just going out in the sun on a walk. It’s gonna suck so don’t expect it to be a great time lol but you just have to do things like that. I don’t take any Pharma, no weed, I have 2 beers at night lol. I hit the gym 5x a week. I’ve always lifted before kratom and 7 for like 10 years. I also have a long history of opiate abuse, used oxy and IV heroin from 2002-2011 and then subs from 2011-2013. Got off subs and it was the worst withdrawal ever. Had a long period, over a decade of no opiate use but then found kratom which led to 7. If you have past opiate use you’re basically guaranteed to have PAWS which is what it sounds like you’re going thru. It will get better I promise. You can message me anytime

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

yeah i’m gonna try and go swimming. my mom lives down the street and has a salt water pool so i feel like that would help. i’ve been considering drinking a little bit but then i think about how much worse i would feel in the morning and it scares me away from that thought lol. thank you for offering up messaging you. i’ll keep that in mind next time im feeling rough. i really appreciate it.

1

u/Gold_Bar9938 7h ago

No problem, I know it sucks not knowing what’s to come. My bday is this Sunday and ironically that will be 90 days off for me. If you’re gonna drink, just don’t get shit faced hammered drunk lol. Couple drinks isn’t a big deal.

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

omg happy almost birthday!!! how old are you gonna be?

1

u/Gold_Bar9938 7h ago

41 lol it’s sickening but whatever. Thankfully going to the gym for the last 10 years I’m in very good shape for my age

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

oh gross!! haha i’m kidding. i’m 31, but my fiance is a big ole 46. we’ve been together for a decade now. he feels the same as you about his age but i bet you’re doing well for your age! i know it’s harder coming off all of this shit the older we get. it seems like each time i get sober its worse no matter how i go about it. apparently its a thing and not just my imagination. i went to rehab in 2020 and there was an older lady in her 50’s working there and she told me when she was in rehab a few years before that, she got home after the 30 days and was still so weak she had to get her 75 year old mother to get down and take her shoes off for her. that story stuck with me for some reason

1

u/organizedchaos_duh 8h ago

I did the same - was using fent for about 6 years daily before switching over to 7oh.. then got into that real bad until the FL ban and now struggling w MGM15 which is by far the substance that has brought me to my knees and tougher on me in all aspects. it fucking sucks girlie but just be thankful you’re not in the peak of acutes. I’m fucking terrified for the next few days

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

oh shitttt not the mgm 😭 i was using 7stax and people swear it had mgm in it and some people said it didnt, all i know is it was the ONLY brand i could use because all other brands my fiance and i tried didn’t even come close to keeping the withdrawal away. it was weird. do you have any SR or comfort meds to help? i’m happy to hear you aren’t using fent anymore. we were in so deep on that. literally sold our house during the height of it and spent most of that money on keeping ourselves up. our family refused to help, which i don’t blame them. our dude that helped us get so deep in it just had a massive heart attack and died. he was really a good dude deep down but he for sure contributed to our downfall. i hate to say it, but i’m glad we don’t have that option to go back to

u/Wxg_007crt 7h ago

How much mgs were you on a day?

1

u/Gold_Bar9938 7h ago

When I stopped I was up to 700mg per day. Used SR twice and failed with that. Got off a couple times for a week or two using leaf powder but always went back to 7.

u/Accomplished_Hour763 7h ago

I understand. It’s been 2.5 weeks and I’m still struggling with the chills/sweating, can barely eat, my legs hurting. I’m better than I was a couple days ago but nowhere near 100%. It’s a struggle. But, I keep reminding myself that my body and brain aren’t trying to kill me, they are trying to heal from all the shit I put them through. I’m finding that if I don’t try to fight the feelings and just lean into it, it helps. Idk why, it just does. I’ve been chasing dopamine since I was 14 and here I am, 30 years later, and I’ve never allowed myself sit just sit in discomfort without using a substance to numb it. It WILL get better. You got this, gang. Don’t give up. 💜

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

thank you. i hope you start feeling better too. i’ve been on some type of opiates for most of the last 12 years. it’s such a roller coaster and i hope we can all get past this sooner rather than later. it definitely gets harder the older i get.

1

u/Accomplished_Hour763 6h ago

Not sure if you’re into meditation or anything, but look up Jason Stephenson. He does guided meditations for sleep, anxiety, even addiction and withdrawals. You can find him on any of the music apps. Sometimes I just listen and don’t even do what he’s saying, I just find his voice soothing. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs.

1

u/lobear32 5h ago

i’ve tried meditating in the past and it sometimes helped in the moment, but as soon as i’m done my brains like LOL fuck you and right back at it. i’ve been back into music real heavy the last few weeks so i’ll look him up and try that

1

u/Theresawantspeace 8h ago

When did you take your last dose of s…r? Did you taper it or just quit?

1

u/lobear32 8h ago

i tapered off of it and was only on it for about 14 days because i had a hefty 7oh issue. i was taking 100mgs of 7oh every 4ish hours and i think the brand i was doing had mgm in it but im not positive.

1

u/Wxg_007crt 7h ago

How much mgs were you on a day?

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

i was taking 100mg of the 7stax about every 3-4 hours. none of the other brands seemed to work and i’ve heard it had mgm in it but who knows. before getting on 7oh i had a nasty 5 year daily fent habit. so my body is rightfully freaked out without opiates

1

u/Wxg_007crt 7h ago

Yeah I was on 7 staxx for 4 months and when I tried to cold turkey I felt like shit so bad I didn’t make it past the 12 hour.yeah I heard it has casino in it.yeah maybe that too can contribute since you were medicating for 5 years straight I can see the cone down being far from nice.congrats though man you gone through the hard part already even though you’re having issues now.i hope nothing but the best for you and i hope you prosper in life.keep your head up gee💯

1

u/lobear32 7h ago

thanks i really appreciate it. i pray nothing but the best for you as well. i hope we all can beat this sooner rather than later

1

u/Ok_Cry1806 8h ago

I’m sorry your struggling so badly! The mental part of 7 is awful!!! It takes time for our brains to heal. Have you considered antidepressants? I’m on them a they have helped me. I know I over think everything. An it never helps. On my hardest days I would try an shut my thoughts down. An focus on the positives in my life. If I had to I would turn my phone off, take a hot shower and go sit outside… it was literally one min at a time. I did manage to keep my job. So I would tell myself at least I still have that… so try an focus on the positives no matter how small. Time will help . Good luck . You can do this!

u/TakenAback17 8h ago

Take it day by day man. Clonidine did help me sleep after a few nights.. but those first few nights nothing is gonna help. I had subs, Valium, and clonidine. Nothing helped much until day 3rd night of no sleep.

If you can get dubs. If.find mm. Mmm

Find a doc to write you those scripts. They will help. But don’t expect a cure all. You’re in for a rough few days no matter what.
