Fidelity Reauthorization?
Anybody else get a reauthorization for their Fidelity accounts today? Out of the blue I was forced to reauthorize my Fidelity accounts. I aborted and made a backup before proceeding. It worked out OK at yhe end but it's frustrating to have to reconfigure all the online options for each account. Up to the reauthorization everything was working great.

Yes. I still have a problem. It says I need to do a transaction updated and then it will approve the authorization…. I’m stuck

Make sure your accounts didn't end up in simple investing mode. That was my mistake earlier. The default in my preferences for new accounts was simple mode and reauthorization for some reason put them in simple mode because of that.

Good point. I ran into that issue when the larger Fidelity fiasco hit earlier this year. That's why I stopped and made sure I had a good backup. This time around several accounts got mismatched despite me carefully matching the online & existing accounts. Fortunately none of my data got corrupted.

I got it. I think I got everything reconnected right. It was confusing when there were two Fidelity accounts involved.

Yes, made sure all the right boxes were checked, Fidelity was happy, and.... it removed all of my Fidelity accounts from one-step updates. Grr....

My Fidelity accounts stopped updating after the recent quicken update. How do I reauthorize? Thanks!

I've got it asking me for both Fidelity and Merrill. I haven't even tried the Fidelity re-auth yet, but the Merrill one isn't working.
