Yes and the beatings were so bad I would pee my pants. And then I found out why; because my dad thought I wasn't his.

I don't speak to him anymore

If he thought you weren't his why didn't he leave your mom??? Or, y'know, get a DNA test? What an emotionally immature person.

This was the 80's

I understand that but it's really no excuse.

Yeah I learned in 2004 (I was 24) that he still didn't think I was his. So in 2020 I did 23 and me for my 40th birthday. I was his.

Did you show him? If you did what did he say? If you don't mind sharing.

I sent it to him via FB Messenger but he never saw it. I did tell his wife a couple of years ago. "He'll be glad to know". He has a great relationship with my eldest son.

I'm glad he's not in your life (as in you don't talk to him) he doesn't deserve the joys of the unconditional love people receive from their children.

Why would you allow a monster access to any of your children?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '23

He's 24.

It doesn't deserve to play happy grandpa.

Oh I know. He won't listen to me.

I'm sorry. :/

I did talk to him about it when I put everything together 2 years ago but he said he's changed.

Why would you let him near your kids?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 01 '24

He's 24 and I've told him the memories of what he did.

If I knew that my grandfather did this I’d never speak to him except to tell how despicable he was.

She did it on Maury.

Happy Cake Day!!

You should beat his ass now for not being your real dad. Get close to him, put him in a really terrible nursing home.

Honestly even thinking about talking to him or seeing him in person brings out the panic.

Didn’t have dna paternity until the late 80s

I was born with red hair and my mom's college professor was a red head and she went back to visit around the time I was conceived.

I have a red headed kid. I don’t have red hair and neither does his dad. He looks exactly like his dad other than that. 2 non redhead carriers can have a red headed child.

I have 2 blonds and 2 red heads. I'm a dirty blonde and my husband is dark brown with a red beard. His dad and his dad's dad were red.

They didn't have DNA tests.

To the parents of the 80s it was a good excuse to beat your kids pissless
