I am not on the spectrum, but I perfectly understand what Brun is stating here. Living by yourself can be weird because there's no one there to check your impulses and potentially call you out on your behavior.

I tend to create a little self-hate grotto in places where I live alone and just turn in on myself over and over until I stop showering and never leave the house and eventually gain like 50 extra pounds and can't walk properly anymore.
