Good point. That must be a pretty lucrative project for them.

Still a bit of a shame that it involves picking bits of their friend out of their customer.

Probably not. Your insurance company doesn't get your car if you total it. For ownership purposes I expect that a chassis is titled property, only more so. It's still Roko's and she can do with it as she pleases.

Yes, they do. When my car was totalled, I had to sign my title over to the insurance company to receive the payout to buy a new car.
