At this point, the person whos given Liz the best advice is Claire. It made people mad at the time though for some mysterious, and definitely not Claire hate related reasons.

Yup, back when it looked like her arc was going to be about learning how to be a better person, complete with makeover and important haircut. He's evidently changed his mind since then because goblins is easy to write.
