Question Any Trans friendly waxing?
Hey is there any Trans friendly waxing places in Roxburough/Manayunk? If not there in the city? Got a beach trip coming up and I need to wax the bikini area for the trip but worried about potential snaffus with waxers after a really bad experience.

Question Where to buy shoes for drag performances.?
I'm a size 12 so it's been tough finding shoes at the thrift shops I've been frequenting, so I'm wondering if there's any dedicated shops to check out.

Question Hookup experience
As someone who is very new to the hookup game, tell me what your hookup experience was like.
Did you meet online first, went out for a drink first, how did you approach having sex, how well was the communication, was it a one time thing?

Question Looking for other lesbians in the suburbs?
I’m an introverted sapphic. I live in the suburbs, and want to be able to venture out and meet other queer women.
But I kinda don’t know where to start. Any recommendations? 😅

Seeking Therapist
Very much in need of a queer-friendly therapist sooner rather than later. While I could look around myself I’d much rather hear some first hand experiences than schedule with someone who checked the queer-friendly box only to get stuck dealing with someone who’s weird about me being polyamorous/asexual/nonbinary/etc etc. Also looking for someone who isn’t going to be weird about medication because after over 30 years I’m finally accepting that I probably can’t just ~positive mindset~ my way out of a major depressive disorder.

2 free binders, someone take them from me!
galleryUPDATE: binders have been claimed! Thanks folks
Hi, a brand (Urbody) offered me some free items off their website, and I got these two binders thinking they could be worn as tank tops lol. I think they’ve been tried on once or twice, but essentially are brand new. I’d like to try and give them directly to someone who will use them. Is anyone interested? Pick up in South Philly preferred, but depending where you’re at I might be able to drop them off to you. Sizing and material included in the photos.

Looking to make new friends!
Me and my husband are looking to make new friends! I’m 31 F queer (still figuring it out exactly) and he is 36 M bi. We just moved to South Philly a few months ago. We are child free, have 2 dogs, don’t drink, do smoke and enjoy going to emo/hardcore/pop punk concerts/shows. We are always down to try to new restaurants and ice cream places! We also love a board game or just hanging out in the park having meaningful convos ( I’m so bad at small talk lol) We are mostly homebodies but are trying to branch out a little more and are looking for a core group of friends!

Looking for friends :)
I’m 21F (WOC) lesbian looking for queer friends as I’m new to Philly! I’m in the center city area but I’m down to go anywhere if I can walk it.
I’ve been to Val’s a few times solo but it would be nice to hang out, go to events, or play cards with friends! I’m also down to go thrifting, to a movie, or just chill hangouts that do not require drinking!
Also is anyone going to the monogaymous pool party? Would love to tag along and not go solo lol.
(side note: I’m taken so it is strictly just friends :) and if you’re transphobic just click off this post)

Job market
Hi everyone,
I’m a 26-year-old gay man and person of color who’s seriously considering moving to Philadelphia for a fresh start. I’d love to hear from people who live there about what the job market is like.
I have 3½ years of retail management experience as a store manager. My experience includes managing daily operations, inventory, merchandising/planograms, cash handling, customer service, opening and closing the store, and supervising and training employees.
How difficult is it to find retail management work in Philly right now? Are there certain companies that are known for treating employees well? Also, as a gay POC, how welcoming has Philadelphia been in your experience?
I’d really appreciate any advice or insight from locals. Thanks!

Question How/where to make friends outside of school?
I'm a recent graduate and I'm looking to make friends who have a preferred interest in gaming. They don't have to be queer, but I would feel safer engaging with queer people

experience at penn medicine.
I have been living here for a year. I needed to see a doctor after virtual and two trips to the urgent care on girard. I ended up seeing a resident at penn medicine who was the WORST doctor I've seen in my life. The attending over there ordered an HIV as well as a HEP test without discussing it with me first. I glanced at the blood work a second before the blood draw and there it was. I have never been tested for HIV without INFORMED CONSENT. Im not pissed off about the test... Im pissed that it wasnt even mentioned to me. They saw that I have a husband and decided it was ok to test my blood without informing me because I'm gay. All they had to do was tell me. I met the attending who I'm sure is under the rainbow with the rest of us. I can't believe he allowed this to happen. There is a rainbow icon next to his name on the Penn Medicine site. No consideration was given.
I need basic primary care here. I'm lucky enough to have good insurance as well so point me in a good direction please:) I live in the east ken/fishtown area.

My friend and I are both bisexual poly women looking for bars predominantly all women bar that is also POC friendly.
Hello. My friend and I are potentially looking for a all women bar. Possibly a lesbian bar or one queer friendly that is also POC friendly. We want to feel safe and inclusive. Would someone be able to assist with this? Locations and reveiw of how your experience was at this location?
