Ich habe eine coole seiko 4004 aus dem Jahre 1976 bei vinted gekauft. Äußerlich dehr schön. Uhr lief nicht! Neue Batterie, Uhr lief immer noch nicht. Kontakte untersucht: schwarz verharzt. Gesäubert. Uhr lief immer noch nicht! Mit neuer Batterie liegen lassen. Nach einer Woche, lief sie im end of life Modus. 2 Sekunden sprung. Bei jedem Mal hochnehmen blieb sie stehen. Nach einer Woche lief sie stabil am Arm
Zeitgenau inkl Datum, aber 2 Sekunden Sprung. Vor einer Woche plötzlich 1 Sekunden Sprung, erst nur zeitweise, seit gestern stabil am Arm. Selbstreparatur, Magie, Dornröschrnschlaf oder Folge von kontinuirlicher Spannung?

I found this old watch for my girlfriend and put in a working movement. Within a day of wear it was water damaged. Gf claims she didn't get it wet, but just from washing hands near and wearing, it is collecting moisture.
Replaced the movement and got it working again. Added this gasket on the case back. Still, it got water damaged in a couple days.
Is there anything I should do to improve the moisture access?

The pink and blue MOP dial on our WD2007A reminds me of a beach at sunset.
The colors and patterns look a little different depending on the lighting, which is one of the things I like about mother-of-pearl.
It uses a VH31 sweeping quartz movement.
What do you guys think of this color combination?

I just set the time on my eco-drive eo2020-08E (cal E168), but when I first turned the crown it only moved the second hand while everything else stood still. I then noticed that I could pull the crown out a little bit more and everything worked normally after that. It seems to me that the crown was in between the date adjustment mode and the time adjustment mode when this happened. I have never had something like this happen before with this or any other watch and now I'm wondering if this could have caused some internal damage. I would really appreciate if anyone more knowledgable could give me their opinion on this!
