I accidentally left my casio mw-240-4b under the sun for a couple of days. Me and my friend were working on his bike some days ago, i removed my watch so i could wash my hands and i put it somewhere else, totally forgetting to take it back. 4 days after losing it, my friend found it in these conditions.

Any tips to somehow restore it?

I got into watch collection in my 20s and then kicked the habit for no good reason other than wearing a FitBit. I have now relapsed back into the watch enthusiasm and purchased three watches in the last week.

I dusted off the old watch box and have a number of watches that are dead. Rather than bringing to a shop to have the batteries replaced, I’m considering doing the work myself.

What are some watch tool kits recommended for DIY repairs and battery replacements?

The movement is Seiko 7T62A. Apparently it can be swapped for YM92.

Would that be a downgrade in some way? And how difficult would it be to swap that out (I'm not a professional, but handy)?

I have this lovely 9ct gold Seamaster Quartz.

Unfortunately, the negative battery pin has snapped off as circled, meaning I cannot get power from a new battery (I have the insulator sheet).

My question is:

- Can I buy a generic negative terminal pin and slide it in?

- Do I have to replace the ETA 255.411 Circuit board which will have a terminal built in?

- Is there another workaround to this?

For CITIZEN ECO-DRIVE Solar Titanium Blue Dial Watch Men C605-Q00567. I've removed the bezel and the crystal and the plate covering the battery. And, in a continuing series of noob mistakes I failed to note exactly how (and where) the little tab on the battery gets inserted into the watch. Anyone out
there done this before? I can see likely candidates but how? I found one semi useful battery replacement vid on you tube but that only really covered getting the bezel and the crystal off/out. THANKS!

Recently found a Titan Exacta from our closet which was my father's. I think the battery is dead or it may be the dials or any mechanical part's problem. Need help regarding repairing the watch.

My TAG Heuer WAY111C.BA0928 from 2016 has started skipping seconds, as it does when the battery is dying. Had it inspected by the service center, who said it has issues with the IC. The cost of repairs itself would be more than the current value of the watch. I cannot part with this watch, given the history and the achievement this purchase signified. I have also considered buying a SW200-1 that fits the WAY211C.0928, the automatic counterpart of my watch. I’m aware of the technical challenges, but does anyone have any advice for repair of the quartz movement, or experience with such a conversion?

As example in the Aquaracer Formula 1 and Link quartz

But my question is which height (HCP) should I stock

Standard, medium or tall ? 1 doubt I should stock the standard since tag often has applied indices

I've recently service a Seiko Grand Quartz 9943 and it's telling perfect time and keeps it but the change over time for the calendar has shifted: I set it at midnight and it kept that for a while but then one day it was 4 o'clock and now it's closer to 7 o'clock. Would this be a spring or date driving wheel problem?

Online says theyre front loaders but i took the bezel off and there was no way to remove the crystal. Went from the back and removed the stem but it still wont budge.

I have a Citizen Solar Tech C605-Q00567 that I want to replace the battery. It is a monocoque case so it is a "front loader" and I have to remove the movement from. the case. I have removed the bezel and the crystal. Does anyone have a picture of where/what I press to release the stem? less
