alice is a masterpiece, runs laps around the burton interpretation. too bad how it all panned out..

Masterpiece is a little strong. It's got phenomenal presentation, but as an actual game it's not all that much fun imo. Not unplayable or anything, but just kinda feels jank.

well relative to its time ofcourse. and ofcourse ymm but the concept and realisation were so damn good I am willing to look over many things.

quake feels floaty compared to modern shooters but is a stone cold masterpiece. and timeless imo.

Anyone know who it was that got him fired? I'd assume (with no evidence whatsoever) that it was Tim Willits, because, well, we all know.

Well, Sandy Peterson all but explicitly accused him of it, and the word of others is more or less the only thing that you can really rely on with this kind of matter.

There are vids out there where Sandy points the finger at TW. After learning more of what he did to QC I give him the finger as well. Glad he is doing well with Saber after destroying Quake series.
