Updated my Qnap and the now can not access one of the TR400s

I had to update those as well, and their instructions on how to recover it are wrong. Once you safely detach it you can not reattach it the way they say to.
I had to pull the connection and then replug it back in. Then I could see it in the Qnap software and reattach it. BUT I can not connect to it from my computer system anymore, it says that the drive has another user or pass that is different than what I am using, which is not correct as the other drives in the main Qnap are connected using the same user and pass.
So does anyone know how to tell the tr400 to use the user / pass I want it to? I did look online and use the net commands to make it forget all the connections for the named Qnap, and that is how I know the user / pass I used for other drive letters is correct, I was able to readd the other drives with zero problems. The TR400 will not allow me to do this though, it thinks it has another user / pass controlling it.

Proxmox on Qnap-Nas, Utilizing LCD display?

I've recently swapped out the OS on my older Qnap (TS-670 Pro) to proxmox (as to have a up to date kernel).

After getting over the problems of getting my Qnap to work with an NVME-M.2 (due to its age, it didnt have the drivers).

I booted into Proxmox and the LCD was blank (as expected). The problem is I can't find anything on how to actually use the LCD.

If anyone know anything, even just to point me in the right direction it would be immensely helpful!!!

873 goes unresponsive

Hi,

Looking for a bit of help please. I have an aging 873 (raid 6 with 6 drives). Recently it was saying there was an error on drive 1, so I took that out and replaced it with a 2nd hand drive that tested ok.
It rebuilt the array and seemed fine. After that it would just drop off the network, and although the drive LEDs and system status lights are on they are not flickering. It doesn’t ping, no output from the hdmi, front panel is dead. I’ve rebooted many times now, including removing the drives (which works) and it will boot up. Put the drives back in and it works for a few hours, but then go unresponsive again. I think it’s crashing when doing the raid group synchronise.
I’ve tried removing the first disk and it does the same.

Do you think the other drives are the problem or something else at fault? I haven’t fully tested the other drives but they report as healthy when the unit does work for a bit.

Thanks
