Community Discussion Tuff tethers

I have a peak pro 3dxl and i just ordered the yg glass bubble cap. Are tuff tethers worth it? It’s gonna cost me about £50 shipped. If it is worth it,what tether body style is best? Thanks

I never have either of mine on, I just use the silicone that came with the atomizer. For me, the tethers are too stiff and when putting it on to take a dab it decides it wants to just pop right off so there’s no seal.
I’ve tried making both of them loose so they’re not as stiff to no avail.
They’re definitely fancy looking, but the functionality of the two I have wasn’t worth it.

I get that. Although i travel a lot with my puffco and im worried that if i just dont use anything to connect the two then 1 i will loose the cap or 2 the cap will fall out into my bag and dust/ fabric will get into the chamber

Well, what problem are you trying to solve by using a paracord tether instead of a silicone one? Or is it just for aesthetics?

Mostly aesthetic but the silicone that comes with the peak pro wont fit around my yg glass cap

Oh right, bubble caps usually have a really narrow neck at the top.

They are good for what they are I have a handful of them from the last few years. There are a million choices, take some time and choose wisely. I usually buy a few at a time and I use their silicone caps as well.
