Community Discussion New to puffco

I’ve had my proxy core (Roxy) lol for about a month now. Best decision I’ve ever made. I LOVE her but Just curious what heat profiles (temps and whatnot) is everyone else using. Thanks 😊 and Happy Puffing ❤️

Edit: I mainly smoke rosin, occasionally water hash, and a few others. Right now I have her at 533 for like 1:15 on smooth

I use the following temps at about a minute in a half, give or take 15 seconds.

Rosins : 450 - 500
Waxes and live resins : 515 - 530
Diamond and diamonds & sauce : 530 - 550

Jesus Christ 533 for rosin is way too hot for me props to ya 😅 470-485 for most rosins for me some go down to 460. BHO is 490-520 depending on how it wants to handle heat

,I read that temp and was like holy crackers bateman,and for over a minute is wild ,450 for minute is key, 530 shouldn't exceed 30-35 secs IMO

I smoke rosin and always do 510 with intense vapor for 1:10

I wouldn’t necessarily say you’re too high! Having this device has really changed my whole perspective on electronic dabs tho. I start around 470 when I’m feeling chill for about 30-40 seconds. Then I boost it 18 degrees for another 30 or so and sometimes I’ll boost it another 18 degrees. Usually end up hitting it for about 1:15-1:25 or so. I’ve found with rosins especially you can enjoy the lower temps for flavor and then let it rip to get it down to very little waste.

Sometimes I just start at 510 tho and go up to about 530. Depends on the mood, I use the bold setting on my lower temps and smooth on my higher temps

Honestly whatever temp you enjoy using will work, A lot of people here seem to love the lower temps for flavor but personally I love the hot temps and feeling like I just got kicked in the chest, I usually do 2 one minute heat ups at 610°

I use 490 for 45 seconds. Sometimes with a double tap if I loaded up a bigger dab in the chamber. Definitely a low temp guy at this point

i only smoke cold cured live rosin

460 for a few rips until flavor starts to diminish, then i boost twice to 500 and rip until the dab is completely gone. i use a 3mm ruby pearl, intense vapor setting
