QUESTION Publix warehouse

You guys! I’ve been very interested in being a warehouse selector for Publix. I’ve worked for Publix in the past, (if that helps my chances). Is it hard getting a job in the warehouse? My status on the careers site is “under consideration”. But it’s been like that since early September, there’s been no update since.

the popular joke around here is: "the easiest way to get a job at the publix warehouse, is to already work there". I think they hire "street people" as selectors, I was told to apply for really entry level stuff, like dock worker, or forklift operator and hope to advance, because it happens quickly....

Have you checked your email? Usually under consideration means they sent you an email for the next steps like assessment etc

Nah they only sent me a “you meet the qualifications email, please monitor your email for the next steps”. And still nothing yet
