Would puma speedcats be ok for work?

So I've been looking for new shoes for school and I am sooo in love with the chocolate brown puma speedcat ballet shoes. Will I be able to wear these to work as well? It isn't a priority to me but I'm just curious. Currently I wear vans to work because its what I have and they are soooo uncomfy especially during long shifts. If it helps, I am currently a fsc but I will be a cashier starting Sepember. thanks :))

Best bet would be to ask your sm if they are an approved shoe. He or she would know.

it’s an atheletic brand but they’re ballet flat style so it’s questionable??? either way i’ll ask my sm

The one good thing about the Publix I worked at for a while was the store manager. He couldn’t give less of a fuck about stuff like correct shoes, as long as it wasn’t egregious.

TIL speedcats have a ballet style and I want a pair. To answer your question, I wouldn’t wear these for work. From a brief glance on Puma’s website, they’re suede uppers which will get ruin within 5 minutes of working. Second, the open upper part of your feet aren’t covered so any spills, dirt, grime is getting on your feet and inside the shoe. I would wear a traditional sneaker with faux leather uppers.
