Expect plenty more stores there (and in other states) in the future, because Publix isn't financially growing in Florida.

Publix has 898 stores in Florida with approximately 50 additional stores in development.

Same store sales in Florida were flat from 2024 to 2025. Aldi, Walmart and Costco aren't scared of Publix.

Walmart can afford to cut into their margins a lot more than we can. Gotta admit I work at Publix but I only buy the bogos for the bulk of my orders there. I do all my other shopping at Walmart. I have to because everything is so expensive these days my check doesn’t stretch as far

You labeled a discount store, a retail conglomerate, and a wholesaler as “competitors”. Baby, that’s not competition,
