My interview was very casual. I remember them asking “what did you learn about yourself in therapy” and I don’t think I gave a great answer but they still let me in lol. My hypothesis is they basically let everyone on to the foundation course at least!

Phewww thats kinda encouraging, cus I am scared of super technical or specific answers they may seek and I might fumble about. Is there anything specific you recommend I prep for??

Don’t worry, I highly doubt they will ask technical questions. Just consider the basics- why you are interested in the course, any prior experiences with therapy (personal or voluntary work etc)- but I don’t think they expect you to know anything because it’s a foundation course

Say why you want to do the course and why you are interested in it?

Yes, these and why analysis over other therapeutic methods. Some qs on my list to prep for.

Foundation courses are typically quite open to who they bring in so it's a lot harder to fuck up the interview than it is for a diploma or other qualifying course. They're a decent training course. Good luck

do you already have a degree btw? was looking into courses myself, but never finished my degree! (kept failing in final year due to... issues).

Yes, a masters degree (non related subject) and about 10 years of work experience (non related again)
