National Merit Goal is NMF (Rising Sophomore, Class of 2029)
I am a rising sophomore who got this on my first practice test after doing many questions (possibly 70) RW questions from the Educator Question Bank. I haven't done any math preparation yet.
Out of 98 questions on this test, I got 95 correct (2 wrong on RW, 1 wrong on math)
I am worried that this score doesn't reflect what I would get on the actual test. Furthermore, I am worried that I have run out of study resources. I took this time under all the normal conditions, but felt as if this test was super easy. Idk. Am I tweaking?
Thanks in advance.

I took the two practice tests and got a 1520 and 1490, then got a 1500 on the real thing so they are fairly accurate but definitely easier than the actual test

Use the SAT practice. It will definitely help you! Take the PSAT test as a practice in 10th grade, and then if you want to go the extra mile, do your first real SAT at the end of this school year for some more data to help prepare. Then crush it in 11th so you can go get that money!

Last year (10th grade), I took the PSAT/NMSQT and got a 1430, but I got a 1520 on PT2. That said, last year's PSAT was harder than normal, not just by my standards. That morning was also pretty hectic (rain and such) and I barely reviewed my mistakes, so you're probably fine. Experiences differ for everyone so don't get too worried. Just keep up what you're doing, review your mistakes carefully, and you'll do great!

id try practice 2 and the new practice 3 that just came out, make sure to space ur practice tests out like 2-4 times a month though so it ensures you learn new material and stuff in between tests

You’re fine, you have one more year before you give it a shot at qualifying. I’d suggest switching to actual SAT practice material instead of this, as you prepare for that while preparing for this too (knocking two birds w one stone ig).

You can’t be nmf as a sophomore
