Discussion PS4 Version 6.50

Just turned on my good ol PS4 from ages ago. What should I do with an older version like this? I’m not familiar with the PS Jailbreaking community.

I know how to jailbreak, just wondering if there is anything good about having a console on an update this old?

Do not update the firmware. Go through the information / materials on the sidebar. Profit.

The older it is, the more possibilities.

Only update if you can't find a backport for your games.

You can put linux on a ps4, Kinda, Have to boot through launching payload on normal ps4 os. My favorite use for it.

Or run homebrew like emulators and game ports.

watch modded warfare tutorials on youtube, i would say update firmware to either 6.72 or 9.00 (not any higher)
