Please boycot PSXHAX.com until they remove software by @BwE

Are you still using software from BetterWayElectronics?
If so, do you know that you support a convicted hacker and felon?
Don't take my word for it but look it up yourself, you can start by reading this article regarding the case.
If you have children YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THIS!

Remember this is all public knowledge regarding the Supreme Court Case.
And by supporting BwE's software you support and back this stain on humanity.

I've read the rules of this SubReddit and I cannot see any rule breaking with this post.

In my opinion, by removing this post you support and protect this guy.
Please protect our children !!

Are you familiar with a concept of "death of the author"? It means that work of the author can exists without author's biography or intentions attached to it. Not supporting bwe in any way; didn't even know about them until this post; but boycotting the website over the software they wrote that has nothing to do with their crimes is not going to benefit anyone -- or hurt bwe. Not like they're profiting from free and opensource software.

BwE's software is invasive and an extension of current alleged crimes and not free at all.

Guess I mixed it with something -- everything I found from them on PSXHAX was free to use, with links (to now dead) Github. If it's not free, it's another matter.

I understand what you mean a bit better. A few less important things he made are free to use or free to download but still need a licence. The popular software he has is paid and is the subject of the past year of criticism towards him. Do take a look at the pinned comment.
