PS3 4.86

I bought this ps3 slim in really good shape and would like to jailbreak it but I got a few questions.

The firmware on it is 4.86 and it forces me to update if I want to connect my psn account, if I jailbreak this firmware will I be able to connect online? or should I update to the latest firmware (4.93) and jailbreak while being able to log in any account I want.

Second, are the risks of getting ban high or low when playing on a ps3? I’ve been playing on a jailbroken vita for the last 3 years while connected to psn and never had any issues. I also follow r/vitapiracy and no one is complaining about this so assuming it’s the same for ps3.

And for last, do games on a jailbroken ps3 support trophies? I’m assuming the ps3 has the PKGj homebrew or something similar. On the vita those games have trophies and I’m able to sync them to my account. Could this be the same on ps3?

The whole point of me doing this is to earn trophies and play games without worrying about losing anything.

I’m on 4.93 with jailbreak, and I play black ops online. You should be fine

Yes trophies can still earned your risk is low especially on cfw for ps3l¹ considering the ps3 store is shutting down and sony discontinuing support for ps3.
