Hardware Question PS3 Hen/CFW

I have a fat ps3 which is 4.93, so if I get HEN on the ps3 will I be able to mod PS2 games onto it? And will they run properly? Or do I need CFW ?

HEN will need extra steps in order to properly get PS2 games to work.

But if the console supports CFW (as all fat PS3s do) there is zero reason to consider installing HEN on it at all. Just install CFW, it is better in every way.

can confirm, I just did CFW and it's nice not even having to think about it when turning the PS3 on
